Ok, this is one of, if not my favorite Mind Electric covers I've ever heard. I feel like a lot of covers try to reinvent the song, but I really like how this mostly sounds like the original song with a few adjustments, such as the choir being off key during the "Resident Simon" part. Also, as a musician myself, I'm curious; how did you get such a cool vocoder effect in the beginning?
thanks! its me actually singing the notes (heavily pitched corrected and distorted) layered with another vocal track thats vocoded to the same exact notes

This is an incredibly good cover! I had decided this earned its place in my playlist before I noticed how small a channel this is, and that makes it all the more impressive! Have you considered covering the rest of the album, or at least the songs that are entirely written in english? I loved your take on The Mind Electric, and would really like to see what you’re able to do with the other songs from Hawaii: Part II.
On another note, I noticed that in this cover, you said “resident Simon”, but in your first cover, you said “resident minor”, which is what I’ve always thought the lyric was. Given that, to my knowledge, there’s no official transcription of the lyrics anywhere, it’s impossible to say what the original is with 100% certainty, but I’m curious why your two covers differ on that front. Did something change your mind about what the lyric is supposed to be?

i said resident simon because thats the way its said in the lyrics of demos of TME, and i wanted it to be all cool and stuff with the tone and visuals being similar/exactly how they were in the original cover i did. a lot of this video musically and visually are just nice callbacks to the old cover. apologies if that got a bit confusing or whatever lol, i cannot figure out any better way to word it
