Could not find it but, in one of your videos you mentioned you bevel with a 12 ounce maul. Been using a 16 so the 12 seemed awfully light. Respect your opinion so I got one today. Test drive was very enjoyable. More than enough weight and seemed easier to control the depth of the bevel. And as you said it is far less tiring. Thanks once again for a tip that makes things more fun.

So glad it helped! Controlling the maul and being able to tool longer outweigh any small advantage you gain from the extra weight of a larger maul...IMHO.
(Also, I use that maul for all of my tooling, except basket weaves.... not just beveling)

Really like your videos but can’t see much. Just started airbrushing and it would be nice to no what your using as far as paint and thinner and what your doing. Thanks

Thank you! This was just a teaser video for the full class we are doing for Elk Track Studios in 5/12. I typically go out of my way to make sure you can see everything and go through each choice. 😉

Well I once again I seek you guidance. Unhappy with dyeing with a dauber as you might imagine. Went out and bought a Grex airbrush kit, $440. Gravity fed. Fired it up for the first time today. Used Angelus Blue dye. Learned real fast wear a mask after spraying a test piece. Coughed like the first time I smoked weed. Anyway, I had the pressure set at 20 lbs. Feel like that was too much. What would you recommend as far as pressure? I see that you have two videos on Elktracks I want to get. In the market for a new tablet. I see the iOS is tricky. Would an android work? Any suggestions would be appreciated since I am tech ignorant. Thank you for your help.

      Hey Larry!
Always happy to help. Those daubers can be tricky. Lots of streaks. Airbrush is s great easy to go as long as you take the proper precautions (respirator and ventilation). Your pressure is too low. Push it up to 30-35 psi and you should be good to go. There's actually three videos on Elk Tracks... the first two are basics and techniques. Great place to start.
