One thing for future builds. If you coat the part of your 4x4 or 6x6 post that goes in the ground, in a quality liquid rubber coating, along with the bottom of the post, it'll last a VERY long time. We did that 20 years ago to some post and they are still solid as a rock.
As good and professional as your videos have always been, they are getting even better!! Take care of that finger Jason. Nice to see you and Danielle so happy.
Ya'll are knocking it out of the pasture there!!😅 The colors pop, the fence panels are awesome, it's all coming together. You're good with those T- Posts midway, they'll strengthen the fence alot. I'd do 2 8' gates on the shelter, you may want to section it in half later. Love ya'll ❤
GREAT JOB GUYS, GO BIG OR GO HOME WITH THE GATES 8 FOOT BETTER TO BACK IN TRAILER AND ANIMALS, KEEP WORKING HARD, THE REWARD WILL BE WORTH IT, GOD BLESS 👍💪🙏✝️🇺🇸❤️
I’d highly recommend using T-post clips to tie the T-posts to your fence panels. That way, they could be removed, allowing you to more easily reconfigure the panels. If you drive your T-posts into the ground and weld them to the panels, how will you ever move them? It would require you to lift the panel and pull out the T-post simultaneously (or use an angle grinder to cut either the T-post, the panel, or both)!
Hi Jason and Danielle, you did a lot, and that color I love it. Why do I think that the goats are going to the Junods, idk. You have a wonderful weekend with Ma. Love you both💕💕 PS Thanks for the longer video
Love those fence panels, that’s some of the nicest fence panels I have seen plus they are nice and strong. I like that after your hard work to stain or wood preserve your expensive fence posts, looks good and will last that much longer. I can see this is your forever place. 👍👍👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
Now that Danielle is the best ranch hand you can have. Working that post hole digger and then multitasking w/ mixing concrete w/ Coors Lite in hand. You are most fortunate Jason.
Pods you put all your stuff in there and they move it for you. You can keep it until you don't need it and they will come get it. That's what The Hollar Homestead did when they moved from California to North Carolina.
Y’all.. Jason has a pickup and trailer. They have a horse trailer. They have friends with pickups. They are moving 10 minutes down the road. They don’t need uhauls or pods.
@@jandavis2494 I get it, but they made the comment of where they were going to put everything. All the stuff they store in the shop, his tools etc won't have a place out of the elements until he can get a shop built. It might be a good place to store stuff for awhile in a pod, plus pod is moved all at once. Less trips.
Evert thang looking sharp , I knew it would every thang you guys do is stunning, you two are the number one best team on you tube, you guys are killing it, love you guys.
2 8 foot gates. Or add a short wall in shed and when you divide it add the second gate then. There’s no forever in ranching. Everything will change it’s just a matter of when.
I love the job you are truly farmers now. My goodness. I say {2} - 8 foot gates easier to get them into the pen. Rember you might need to separate the pen male away from female Too. You need room for hay inside bar to keep it dry or under a shed. I am so proud of you both.
Use the 2-8 foot gates then if you ever have to, you can open it up to back the cattle trailer to load them up or unload them inside the barn you’ll never have to corral them out
Have you thought about building a platform to set the water tank on? Maybe 3 feet off the ground, the water pressure would keep the water troughs full.
Y'all do such a great job working together. Enjoyed the editing style on this video Jason. Thank you you both for the awesome content and the way you bring it together!
Crisp and perfect Color on the video!! Music in the background works as well!!! Excellent video excellent job on the rest of it all!!!! Love how u guys work together as a couple!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Easiest way to keep a 90 angle is the 3, 4, 5 rule. Starting point measure 3 ft, 4 ft the other direction and scribe and scribe at 5 ft......perfect 90 degrees. We used it in construction for general layout. You can double or triple the number, works every time. Enjoying your journey, cute couple. When you getting your own critters? Wink wink ;D
Hi Jason and Danielle! Love the little animal cover. The blue is beautiful!!! However the minwax products aren't for exterior use. They don't have UV protection in them. Minwax is for interior use only. Not sure how well it will hold up. You may need to use an exterior polyurethane like Spar or a marine poly to protect it.
You guys need to make a T-shirt a special T-shirt with breakfast, and that doggy's pass way 😢 I miss them so much 😢. Now this beautiful angels said Mom and Dad. They saying i see and Sun day ranch 😢. Stay safe guys God bless you 🙏❤️
You both are amazing 👏 xxxx keep it up so happy you are getting things done to make you both happy and happy for your gorgeous Animals soooooo very proud of you both 😊. What the f...k I hope you keep it clean so sorry for you to have done it to you Finger xxx
I noticed one thing too you guys have alot more shaded areas to that's great,I'm sure your neighbors are happy too see what a great job you are doing there too And it may have been tuff digging those holes but I remember up on the mountain it was literally nothing but rock you couldn't even dig a hole...
Hey, kiddos, it's coming along Jason you are like me every time I am working on something. If I an't bleeding from somewhere, I am not working right. You might want to put a leaf guard on rain catcher. That way, water would be clean for the animals. Plus, I would go with two big gates just in case you need to get a tractor or trailer in there. GB, y'all, stay safe, your friend LTC
I found your channel not too long ago and for some reason I just fell in love with guys. I absolutely love the way you two work together! I’m still trying to figure out what you guys are trying to accomplish but overall know that you’re going to accomplish everything your minds are set to. I’m very excited to see every new chapter in your lives. Blessings from Paso Robles, California, Carlos ✝️🙏❤️😊🇺🇸
If you shed 16 foot, put you a 4 foot gate next to your shed for access. Then out on the open end of the fence put your big gates or you split pin if you decide to do that. That would be what common thought would be, that’s just my humble opinion. Y’all are done an awesome job.
Thank you for your hard work because Im sure its takes longer setting up and all that it takes to film your videos, I wish you both so much happiness. God bless you both
Oh one last thing, maybe put a two to four inch platform under the water catchment, easier to get water, & will likely last longer if off the ground!! ~Kim P.S. Jason Take care of that finger, Polysporin & then a bandaid!!
* * Awesome! * * Man, that injury though....ooof. I'm a squeamish one. I've always been such a wuss when my kids are bleeding. For gates, whatever gets the tractor in easily. Probably 2 for separation in the future. Also, it's wonderful that Danielle was off. Hope y'all had a great time with the family! -much love as always ~Mary & fam
Will your guardian dogs go in there also? If so you will probably need to make sure they won’t dig out of the bottom of your animal shelter, or the panels. I love the look of the shed you made for them, and love the nice looking panels. You guys did a great job.
Make sure when moving animals that the trailer is balanced weight wise with big animals. A trailer tipped over on road with horse in it because it was not balance properly.
I'm positive that it didn't flip due to the horses inside the trailer unless there was 12/15 horse's on one side of the trailer and you took a turn at 30mph.
Y’all are some hard working young folks! I’d put 8’ gates so there is room for the tractor or a vehicle clearing if needed. I’m loving the new property and the progress! Continue to be safe and stay well!
I am so darn impressed!!! You guys did such a wonderful job on picking the most amazing fencing! I love it! Best fencing I’ve seen! You two can always pull it together and get through any hurdle too. Congratulations on a great start on the new property.
Luckily you don’t have a lot of cattle that will be pushing on the fence because when you’re holding animals in a pen they need the fencing on the inside of the posts that braces the panels It’s just like if you’re putting up fencing around your property you don’t put it on the outside of your posts you put it on the inside of your property that hold your animals in especially when you have cattle and horses is what I have
I just bought land in Oklahoma (moving back to my home state). I found you guys channel by searching for info on tiny homes. I have watched so many of you guys videos now and I am in love. I was raised for many years in Stroud not far you guys!
You are both very brave. You are always fearless when it comes to scaling new heights. Everything you do, the struggles you both have overcome, are a reminder to me to take chances and dare and not give up! I'm glad you guys made a longer video! It's so inspiring to see your progress!
2 gates would look great and totally be the most useful. Especially if you have to back a trailer into the area. Making the area bigger. Also grab some 2 hole C pipe clamps from the Home Depot plumbing department and fix the fencing to the posts so that the rails don't pop off from just the two screws holding them on. Just a suggestion
Thank you for making a decently long video that is full of great content! It’s been awhile.
Fence looks great. I would do 2 small gates. Also I would suggest plugging the ends of the pipes, to keep wasps from building nest in them.
Animal Barn looks real good. The fencing is awesome. I think put the 2 8ft gates ready for the split later on. Future proofing is never a bad idea.
100 percent. Do the work once.
One thing for future builds. If you coat the part of your 4x4 or 6x6 post that goes in the ground, in a quality liquid rubber coating, along with the bottom of the post, it'll last a VERY long time. We did that 20 years ago to some post and they are still solid as a rock.
Great advice
I asked Jason to check out red poppy ranch. That is what Heath does to his fencing posts. He coats it in a liquid.
As good and professional as your videos have always been, they are getting even better!! Take care of that finger Jason. Nice to see you and Danielle so happy.
Agree
Man this is a CROCKER video 👊 had a little of everything! Killer music ! Panels look great - shed looks great ! Can't wait for the class too !

Thank you, I've been wanting to see a longer video!! Great content!
I think it’s great when the elders in a family show support to the younger ones in the group. 😊
You two are working it👍🏼
Take care

Great tip
Yes great tip
Hi Danielle how are you today hope everything is fine because we love you guys keep up the good work
Hi Jason and Danielle, you did a lot, and that color I love it. Why do I think that the goats are going to the Junods, idk. You have a wonderful weekend with Ma. Love you both💕💕 PS Thanks for the longer video

It looks fabulous!! I love the color contrast, perfect!! ♥️♥️
You got this. The little shed looks fantastic! Way to go❤❤
So for the gate it probably needs to be big enough to get the tractor or a skid steer through to be able to load stuff in and out of the area.
All I know is that I love you guys and want you to be happy! I wish i lived closer so that I could help you move.❤
Now that Danielle is the best ranch hand you can have. Working that post hole digger and then multitasking w/ mixing concrete w/ Coors Lite in hand. You are most fortunate Jason.
Solar lights on top of your fence post. Looking good for your animals❤
Love the shelter ! Don’t forget the straw for bedding! You guys are kicking butt !!😊😊😊😊 Best video ever!
For sure they need straw in there for bedding. Especially since cooler weather is coming. I would do 2 8ft gates.
That's some damn hard work put in and new ranch is already looking great! Great job!
Yes, do two 8 foot gates for later split.
T posts in the middle is also a great idea.
Huge love ❤️ from Canada.
Looks good. I suggest getting a large UHaul and moving a lot of stuff from Shoot Dang Ranch in a massive load.
Pods you put all your stuff in there and they move it for you. You can keep it until you don't need it and they will come get it. That's what The Hollar Homestead did when they moved from California to North Carolina.

I love how you two work so well together! Danielle sure pulls her weight to help you get things done! I always help my husband too…
Jason you are one tough person going through so many finger accidents. Hope and pray you stay safe! God Bless.
2 8 foot gates. Or add a short wall in shed and when you divide it add the second gate then. There’s no forever in ranching. Everything will change it’s just a matter of when.
Love the color. And the stain. 🥰❤️

Small walk through gates have been a life saver.
Love the music on this video!! Sorry you got hurt Jason. The stain looks good!!
Use the 2-8 foot gates then if you ever have to, you can open it up to back the cattle trailer to load them up or unload them inside the barn you’ll never have to corral them out
Great video!!!! Y’all rocking it ❤
Absolutely looks wonderful you to are killing it with the fence and barn everything looks absolutely amazing I would go with two doors love ❤️ you
2) 8ft gates
Looking good.
God bless you both and keep you safe
Have you thought about building a platform to set the water tank on? Maybe 3 feet off the ground, the water pressure would keep the water troughs full.
Good suggestion. Let gravity do the work for you.
Y'all do such a great job working together. Enjoyed the editing style on this video Jason. Thank you you both for the awesome content and the way you bring it together!
Best video in a very long time, right amount of talking and working. ❤❤❤❤
The new property looks great.
Looking great Jason and Danielle.
Great video love the music and content. Love watching how your projects come together. Great builds
Good Job Jason and Danielle 🙏 Fencing looks Beautiful 😍
AWWWWWW.......I didn't want this video to end because it was SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!! Thank you for the excellent show. ❤
I felt the same way!!

Hope you both know how special you both are. Glad to see the hard work and your smiling faces.
Keep that boo boo finger covered to keep the dirt out. Good job guys.👍
Hola from Spain. Think you're gonna need a gate through which the tractor can drive through. Cheers, Ray

I'm proud of y'all two, you made it look easy. Can't wait to see the animals
You guys need to make a T-shirt a special T-shirt with breakfast, and that doggy's pass way 😢
I miss them so much 😢.

You both are amazing 👏 xxxx keep it up so happy you are getting things done to make you both happy and happy for your gorgeous Animals soooooo very proud of you both 😊. What the f...k I hope you keep it clean so sorry for you to have done it to you Finger xxx
Install solar lights on posts and around property now that nights are getting dark early.
I noticed one thing too you guys have alot more shaded areas to that's great,I'm sure your neighbors are happy too see what a great job
you are doing there too
And it may have been tuff digging those holes but I remember up on the mountain it was literally nothing but rock you couldn't even dig a hole...
HELLO 🤗 animal shelter & fence are nice 👍
Just a suggestion as thinking in future sense I would do the two 8 ft gate the way you explained.
Awesome job Jason and Danielle putting up the fence you guys were two hard-working people

You will also need to put galvanized poultry wire over the fencing to keep the birds from escaping
Panels to the inside of the posts would strengthen the fence when animals push on it
Looking so good ! I love your design! Good luck with the rest … love you both ! ❤
Hello Jason and Danielle. You got a lot accomplished 👏. Looking good. Enjoy your weekend.
I will be happy to take over the goats. I'm very interested. 🐐 ❤ 😊

Barn looks great!! Keep up all the good work
A longer video👊 Everything is looking good! The new digs is gunna look sharp for that Lambeau!
The quality of the videos and the editing are just beyond beautiful... Man yall just get better and better and I am here for it!

I hope you have some fingers at the end of this project. I loved that added clapping you added after the pull up . That gave me a giggle
Excellent job you two as always keep up the good work take care good damage in your fingers you may want to use them one day
These woods are bringing back OG tiny build vibes. 😊
Thank god l was waiting for this yesterday 😢, but it was worth the wait 👍👏❤️ love it all.

When you drive your t posts before you cut the tops maybe run an electric wire on top of the fence,or a barb wire, fence hoppers,❤
A lot of time you can take the pull start assembly off and use a socket with a drill to start it. That's how I start my rototiller.

You're right, you have accomplished a lot.
Looks amazing, go with the big gates so you can always get a tractor in there even if you do divide it you will always have tractor access
Liv and I love it and we can’t wait to see it in person!! ❤️
Looks so good guys good job so excited for y’all
Love the colors! Way to go with the panels... Super! 👍
😊 your fence is looking nice 👍
Looking real good. Enjoy life. ♥️✌️
Nothing stops the Crocker’s, awesome work and it’s beautiful!
