made this for my barbie movie trip! i used slightly thinner yarn and smaller hooks so it came out shorter than the original but it looks great! thank you for an incredible tutorial
Oh my god, it looks so freeking cute, I LOVE IT! Paige, could you please make a crochet tutorial about layered hanky hem clothing (especially skirts and / or dresses)? I love this fairy, boho, hippie look so much but I do not know how to make my own nice clothing.
how stretchy will it end up being? if i were to make it higher waisted would i need to do a drawstring/ elastic waistband to make it fit around my waist and hips or would it stretch enough to go around my hips?
Definitely adding this to my project list !!!! I’m wondering though, how did you go about weaving in the ends of the big fluffy trim???? It looks like it would be kinda complicated
Wondering if the skirt part (past the waistband) would work up as well with a treble crochet instead of a double. New to making wearables so please forgive my ignorance.
definitely blankets, (very simple) sweaters, hats, legwarmers, pretty much anything that can be worked in squares and have simple stitches are amazing for beginners. Bella coco, hooked by robin, TL Yarn crafts are amazing for beginners, free patterns on yt too!
everyone's different but personally I don't recommend blankets, I started a few when I first started and they're really the only projects I've never finished to this day. start with small stuff that you can work up easily, bags are my go to because you don't have to worry about fit and you can practice loads of different stitches
can i get ideas for camping im going camping in 2 weeks ifs okay if the video is a little later i go every year so ill but the ideas in my list for next year
this is so adorable:> definitely gonna have to try to make this for this summer!

This is exactly the kind of skirt I have in mind for a cupcake costume! Thanks for getting me started!
I do have a question if I didn’t want to use the plush yarn at the end could I just use the smaller yarn to finish the skirt ?
Yes! You can, I tried and it works just fine!

It depends on the yarn type you use

For someone who just started crocheting last week, and has only done one project, what type of projects would you recommend I do to work up skills?
definitely blankets, (very simple) sweaters, hats, legwarmers, pretty much anything that can be worked in squares and have simple stitches are amazing for beginners. Bella coco, hooked by robin, TL Yarn crafts are amazing for beginners, free patterns on yt too!
arm/leg warmers, hats, headbands, scrunchies, anything that works up quickly so you'll be able to see your results sooner and adjust accordingly!
She has lots of videos with ideas for beginners, maybe that will inspire you :)

Hi! Is it possible to slip stitch the chains at the beginning and to work in rounds to avoid the seam at the end?
Would half double crochet work for the first part of the skirt? Like the waist band?
yes but you may need to do more rows to make it thick enough since hdc stitches are shorter
عمل جميل جدا ❤👍👍👍👍🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦
What can I do if I made my waist band too long?
