The woman with the viola (an accompanying instrument slightly larger than a violin) is also good and should be applauded, along with Celina, who is the bright star of this entire performance.

Niestety trochę zwaliła Bacha (i tak zagrała go pięknie) i jury widoczne uznało, że nie powinna przejść do następnego etapu ); ale uważam, że powinni ją jednak przepuścić

If you liked Celina's playing DO NOT read my further comment. (Her main issue is intonation. After that it's rhythmic control - haphazard phrasing. After that, it's the sound - poor bow control. Overall, it's a good performance but by no means outstanding.)
Absolutnie pani Kotz powinna była znaleźć się w finale. Zarówno muzycznie jak i technicznie reprezentuje bardzo wysoki poziom. Natomiast Polka, która, jak słyszę, znalazła się w finale (podobnie jak Miki Kobayashi w poprzednim konkursie, II nagroda ), ma problemy z grą staccato (nie trzeba dodawać, jakie znaczenie to ma w utworach Wieniawskiego). Zob. obie sekwencje staccata w górę smyczkiem w I części Koncertu d-moll (Włoszczowska / Kobayashi).
I bardzo słusznie!
Włoszczowska jest bliska Vengerovi. Ot co.
Zgadza się! Skandaliczne oceny jury w III etapie! Po Włoszczowskiej, jako jedynej polskiej finalistce, można by spodziewać się dużo więcej. Miałem szczęście słuchać Pani Kotz na żywo tamtego wieczoru i był to najlepszy z pięciu występów.

First I'm no musician so anything i say is terribly subject aaaaand my wife is pianist. I have hundreds of hours with a guitar in my hands. But the guitar is fretted and the piano massively structured. A position move of a few microns on the violin can show a range of emotion the others can't approach. I'm a machinist so i think in terms of microscopic and submicroscopic distances.
Ho wrote the cadenza at mozart 3?
