Actually the whole tone of the book is heavy. Not that a younger audience doesn't enjoy that but that is not usually what is put out as YA material.
Great video. You should not center yourself in the frame if you're displaying covers beside you. Do what TV news do: place yourself on one side. Just saying.

Maybe I need to give this another look but the setting being a snapshot in a particular time was exhausting because we lived it. Also, the plight of a teenager is getting further and further from a point of relatability for me. With that being said, I didn't give this a very long leash either.
