Hello sir, today I had my second Anatomy midterm. All the appreciation is paid to you. Your knowledge and your teaching method are fascinating. Watching your videos is a great pleasure for me. Thank you for all the enlightenment.best regards, from Kuwait 🇰🇼
Thanks you Sam very much ... I understood why the IM injection is hurting me for more than 6 months is axillary nerve. My shoulders prevents me from lifting my arm for some times.
Great video for teaching nurses about shoulder anatomy to prevent SIRVA. I will be using this in my clinical teaching. Could you do a similar video on gluteal injections? I watched the gluteal muscle video from 2018 but something focused on structures relevant to injection safety would be fantastic. I am always looking for visual ways to explain to nurses why the ventrogluteal site is now recommended over dorsogluteal for large volume IM injections as well as how to landmark the ventrogluteal site.
They should grab the deltoid muscle to prevent this and the needle should not go in that deep. It is risky. The person has to know what they are doing.
Hey sam, thanks for the video. I do not quite understand the difference between the bursae and the synovial space/cavity. Could you give your mind to it?
How deep do i plunge the needle when doing deltoid intramuscular injections? So that way i can make sure im avoiding the axillary nerve also, what would sensation would you feel knowing you hit the axillary nerve EXACTLY? I dont want vague answers like oh a pinch or this, i need details. Also if i hit the axillary nerve would that guarantee 100% paralysis or if i went to a hospital could it be fixed? NEED ANSWERS
You should have simply shown where to inject on a person's arm that is in the room with you. You can't tell anything about where it goes with the things you're using.
Thank You for existing and being so great at teaching anatomy,
You’re a saviour for the 2021 batch of medicine, who never got to enter the lab ♥️
One of the best anatomy teachers! 🙏🏻
No doubt about it
The best! Entertaining, knowledgeable, fun and caring.
Thank you Sam 😊

Best anatomy lecture, I have seen in entire life. I wish, you were my teacher in medical school.
Thank you so much sir..you teaches in detail and best of the best than the lecturer ..I love it
Great professor thanks for all your support to medical students

Thank you for the more detailed information on the deltoid area! Before my inoculation I made sure that the nurse knew I had skinny deltoids. Yeah.
Brilliant and entertaining as usual. May I suggest a lesson about adrenalin injection in the thigh?
I never would have thought that young Peter Capaldi would teach me how to inject
Thank you so much for providing such clear guidance
Great overview, it's a pity that you're not recommending injection sites.
Can a shot hit a nerve? What would the long-term effects be if this happened?
Odds on hitting a vein or capillary within the deltoid muscle?
This is unfortunately too late for some. My shoulder was affected 3 months ago! Ridiculous amount of pain! No compensation 😭😭😭

Stylistically chosen background content, 4K, TRACKING ANIMATIONS!?
Give it another five years, it’s going to be all green screen, CGI and explosions.
I love you Sam Webster

Sir please make videos in a bit systematic way…your videos are very nice but not properly arranged
