That’s a VERY toxic trait and very childish to have in any type of relationship but I think it’s something ppl do more than not. I remember being in a toxic situation and whenever I felt things weren’t necessary going in my favor or disrespected an argument broke out and in that moment you say things to hurt the other persons feelings. It’s that low blow you give for the sole purpose of trying to have them feel the way you felt and things are said that your later regret. So I understand what he’s saying…. Is it right NO, is it toxic YES he have some growing to do for sure. I’m so glad I’m pass those years.

Thank you for pointing out that Monte was the catalyst for how Taylor was treated in the house. If he had treated that conversation with Taylor regarding Paloma differently, the whole house would have shifted. In the long run, it only made Taylor stronger but, he has lost his chance of something romantic happening with Taylor. Maybe later in life but, she knows her worth.

'Now that I've learned so much more about what has happened that I was not aware of' ?? This loser is really trying to rewrite what happened in that house. He knew enough about what was happening those first few weeks since he didn't play some passive role in her being isolated, talked down on, microaggressive comments being used against her, bullied. Why didn't he keep that same energy towards other players who lied to him. It was so easy to ostracize the black woman when he thought she lied. I strongly believe if the same situation was reversed, he would not have responded to Paloma that way.

The problem, Monte, is not that you were aligned with Paloma, etc. The problem was that you had to make very personal, unnecessary comments about Taylor being a poor example of a black woman. Even if she did lie (which she didn't) this is a GAME. That comment was so EXTRA and uncalled for.
