My brother Robert plays guitar here...♡♡♡
Wow
Wait for real? Dude you gotta tell us more
@@atomicwoodpecker0123 What more do you need to hear 😊..? Well, here. ..my brother Robert Petkovic left the band cause he went to live in London, year after he started his own band POD, there's a whole album from '93 on some site, must ask him to remind me which one is it. ..and there is only one on yt called POD - Budi Moj Led by Ivangeld channel. ..enjoy. ..♡

Hope this will be the next Molchat Doma youtube "obscure" trend.
Greetings from Chile!
Molchat Doma isn't a trend but a lifestyle
Lyrics (roughly translated):
Because I love you so much/I didn’t want to confess to you/
That I cried out all night/all night long/
I did not want you to know/that I remained alone tonight/
This is not you anymore/this is not you/
This is not me/this is not me/This is not me anymore/
First time in my life I wanted to die/to die/
I'm not sure what I became/I feel I’m not young anymore/
I did not want you to know that I remained alone tonight/
This is not you anymore/this is not you/
This is not me/this is not me/This is not me anymore/
I was afraid you would not recognize me this morning/
I do not know why I thought so/why I thought so/
This is not me/this is not me/This is not me anymore

Here's a Brazilian listening Yugoslavian Goth Rock . This song deserved my like 👍. Not just songs in English, mainly post punk we can find good songs, but also as I could find it in East Europe good bands. Here in Brazil there are bands from the same genre as Legião Urbana, Ira, Plebe Rude, As Mercenárias and others.
@@ericm9676 Eis a questão hahaha
Capital Inicial is very good, also good songs from Cabine C, Kafka, Treblinka, Finis Africae, Ethiopia. Brazil has great bands.Greetings from Serbia (Ex Yugoslavia)
don't mind me, just a fellow Dominican with nothing better to do.
Fantastic, sounds like early Sisters meets March Violets

It's because my brother who plays the guitar here and created it...he has his own different, how to call them....tunes, I think....on the keys of the guitar.... you know, when you are adjusting the strings.... many regards and glad you noticed...🎩🦇
I'm sad to say that my lovely brother Robert Petkovic, who played the guitar here, died this December .....Born May 19th 1969 - December 07th 2023 🖤💔🥀🖤

Any Serbian who can write down the original lyrics? I'd love to read them. This is what I've found online, but according to my hearing, they do not 100% correspond to what is sung in the song (in square brackets are the parts that sound different to me). Thanks!
[Jako sam te voleo]
I nisam želeo da priznam da sam cele noći plakao
Nisam zeleo [da ti znas]
[Da sam] nocas ostao sam
To nisi vise ti
To nisam vise ja
Tada sam prvi put poželeo u životu da umrem
Ja nisam vise siguran u sebe
Ja nisam više ja
Nisam zeleo da ti znas da sam ostao sam
To nisam vise ja
Jutros sam se uplašio da me nećeš prepoznati
Because I love you
I didn't want to confess that
I cried all night
That i cried all night
Didn't want you to find out
That I'm left all alone
That's not you anymore
That's not you anymore
That's not me anymore
That's not me anymore
That's the only time
I wanted to die, to die
I'm not sure in myself anymore
I'm not me anymore
That's not me anymore
Yesterday I was afraid
you won't recognize me
I don't know why I thought differently.
Zato što te volim
nisam želeo da ti priznam
Da sam cele noći plakao x2
Nisam želeo da saznaš da sam
noćas ostao sam
To nisi više ti x2
To nisam više ja x7
Tada sam prvi put poželeo
da umrem, da umrem
Ja nisam više siguran u sebe
Ja nisam više ja
Nisam želeo da saznas da sam
danas ostao sam
To nisi više ti x2
To nisam više ja x7
Jutros sam se uplašio
da me nećeš prepoznati
Ja ne znam zašto sam onda mislio

you seem to have a vast library of east bloc music! is there a place I can find/download these?
I doubt there's some page where you could download albums or collections. But you can download individual songs from youtube. Just google youtube to mp3 and download from one of the top results
You can find a 320kbps version of the album on Rutracker! Just search the band's name.

Band of the regime, which could not talk about everything, indeed had to speak well of the communist regime of the dictator tito, I will make you listen to someone who knows the language, to know what they say.
They play a mixture of Sisters of Mercy, the background of the guitar resembles that of Marian, Joy division, perhaps even Bauhaus.
Horrible result, I will let you know the text if some former Yugoslavian does not
Pls do
What is this garbage comment
lol they for sure don't look like a regime-friendly band...there are other, far more popular, bands you could accuse of that. Also the atmosphere they create is very dark, echoing the mayhem that will ensue in Yugoslavia. At least this is how I interpret it from this perspective :D
More likely that a band was on good terms with politics as long as it didn't pose a threat of any kind. Pretty much you could've sang about anything except about the regime in a bad way or about some historical things that were different from the views of the Party. If you were a bit nationalistic and separatistic then the only place where you could sing was inside the four prison walls haha and even then it would have to be a praise to the system and the leader. Funny times.
It's a song about love, and the hardships that come from it
