There is a very real thing called "Franchise Fatigue". Basically, there are so many sci-fi/fantasy franchises nowadays, as compared to in the past, that not everybody even tries to follow them all. It still shocks me when I meet people who are unfamiliar with Star Wars IRL. But they *do* really exist!
This was so great! Glad that Clark finally managed to find time to give Jordan a flying lesson. Sam wouldn't have been able to help with this. Sucks that Jonathan couldn't come, but I get why Clark didn't bring him. Outdoors in the Arctic he would have needed serious heavy gear just to survive in that wind. More likely he would have had to stay inside of the Fortress caves, which would have been just as humiliating as being left at home. I just wish that Clark had explained what they doing better when they got back. Like maybe phrasing it as necessary training that Jordan needs with the threat of Ally and her followers looming (which would actually be the truth for a change).
I still think there’s time for Jordans powers. The two theories is the merge with Jon-El and the other being the X-krypton it’s bringing it out of him in a stressful moment.
@@moneylover318 - One almost gets the impression that Clark relies on super-hearing and in-person meetings so much that he didn't even think to call Jonathan using his phone and tell him that family chore day was cancelled due to need and that he should go ahead and do something else.
This show is hot. MUCH better than I thought it would be. I thought it would be a bit like the 90s show with Dean Cain, plus considering how corny SuperGirl was, I had low expectations. This is looking like the best CW show since The Flash.
I think that some writers started getting confused about the fact that Superman and Batman are supposed to be polar opposites of each other despite both being superheroes. Figuratively day and night.
Bro Man of Steel was based on reality that what would happen if superman was in the real world and how the world would react to a Man who can fly and has godly powers .Now if u wanna live in fantasy that's your choice. Man of Steel was about a guy who was questioning his existence ,who is he and where do he come from, he is confused about his place in society and superman is not all powerful . He cannot save everyone . He has restrictions too. He questions , doubt himself too just like everyone on this earth.
@@angelofdarkness243 i've never question whether man of steel is a good film or not. The film itself is great in my opinion. The realistic take about the movie is fantastic. But, the thing that i dont like is the way Clark act, respond, etc. He doesn't smile when helping someone and most importantly he doesn't feel happy. Maybe we could blame WB for rushing the film and not develop the character deeper, but that's just my opinion.
@@achel6067 He smiles when he took first flight ,he smiles and hug his mother Martha , He becomes very angry when Zod threaten his mother , he cannot always smile and Clark was not Superman in Man of Steel . He was finding the answers about himself and what is his destiny . Just like in original Superman movies when clark was heading towards north and his mother said that remember us son always remember us .He was not smiling at that time rather he was sad and crying .
Superman/Clark Kent - the ultimate nerd and boy scout, as what his character should always be, forever positive & optimistic. Not an emo guy who doesn’t smile.
