It works exactly as advertised. Fireblast IS a good ability for survival if you're using augment. It CCs and keeps things off you. The overguard lets you play like frost where you don't have to have catalyzing shields if you run BR + augur mods (think letting your shields build while overguard is the first speed bump). You don't need to hammer fire blast like hes doing either since its a traveling wave. Hell you could even just put nourish on 1 and have an actually decent 4 nuke. Shes a lot better than she was but still kind of janky in terms of builds. Pure ability is pretty cursed as well with breach surge being the only thing that gives her any real killing power.
@@zlipus I did a solo run with a different build and I gotta say you were right about fireblast, it's awesome now. On the other hand, I couldn't make her ability nuke properly, even with breach surge. Ember barely activates the sparks for some reason.

@@Semaradrid Sparks from the resulting fire swirl on her 4 is pretty meh and yeah pretty rare oddly. The sequence should be fire blast (stack your passive, armor strip) -> breach surge -> 4. Not going to see omega 25mil crits like you would from garuda. But I see pretty consistent 1mil headshot crits and things tend to fall over

I'd say its more important to get her augments first than worrying about some min/max build. Fireblast augment is great and with augur mods lets you be -incredibly- tanky right out of the gate
Her 25% damage nerf to Grineer sucks a lot but in compensation she can't die. Idk, i guess that's worth it lol. Plus since her fire blast is a traveling wave, each enemy hit you get overguard gating instead of only getting a single instance of it, makes it safer and you get the overguard 'regen' for a bit longer than say, kullervo who gets one cast at a time.
It's only Kuva Grineer that have the 25% damage reduction for heat, but with the armor changes plus heat procs she's effectively doing more damage now than she did before Jade Shadows, even without the armor strip from Fire Blast If you wanna do damage with her, heat inherit is the way to go. You're talking multiple hundreds of thousands of damage per heat proc just from a few Epitaph shots. I pretty frequently see into the millions just spamming Epitaph > Fire Blast > Inferno > Sickening Pulse. And with her energy changes i completely dropped Exothermic for Healing Flame, no Energize or Equilibrium just Primed Flow and shards
@@Mandingy24 That's not what i said, i said she lost 25% damage against Grineer, not kuva grineer. Heat used to do 25% damage to grineer health. But yeah, she is HORRIFIC against kuva grineer as its a 50% reduction in damage to them compared to before.
Ye nice in lvl cap vs easy fraction and in team....solo another story..no way u can build overgard solo with her..she is actually weak..her overguard mehanics is just bad..if you do not kill clear rooms,Hoards in Cascade will rape you ur hard earned overguard will evaporate in second..it can be done i think but it is not that easy..but vs corus or infested absolutely not..
I ran it with molt reconstruct and energy nexus and it felt a more consistent. Was wondering what you reasoning not running them together? Also why no archon vitality?
Archon Vitality makes her abilities deal one more heat proc, not weapons. Since he is making a weapons platform build, it would be kind of useless. He is not using her 1 or her 2 (no need for the damage reduction from it. it just makes you waste more energy), all he is doing is spamming her 4 for Overguard and armor strip. Though if you can fit it, her augment for the 1 gives extra heat damage on weapons, like Volt's, so it would be nice here, provided you have space for it.

DE please just buff her ult to actually do significant damage so she can be a real caster frame. Modern frames have damaging Ults, and Jade's heat based Ult does more damage.
Just to save your time watching this, its just using 3 with augment to shield gate and overguard gate alongside nourish for buffs. No other abilities are used, so pretty bland build ig.
it’s definitely bland, but it’s good if there’s ember players who want to go into super late runs watching, it’s honestly more of a showcase of the buffed augment than a unique super creative build, and i’m okay with that
u could also play xoris and clear the trash mobs that way, is a good option, then u only need a primary or secondary for single target damage and ur chilling
She is okay but gauss is just an upgrade You can keep either her 1 with augment or keep her 4 and replace the one and dont need the augment But Nourish cant be applied to 2 different ability slots at the same time
I REFUSE to use heat inherent strats with Ember's 4, don't even suggest it! Well, okay fine, suggest whatever you want and do your thing. I'll watch the video regardless (but I promise I'm not doing THAT)

The game is super easy just requires mechanics on enemies to make it harder. I been since 2015. The game got just got easier because of this update even tho health got increased
Why not just build the frames around their kit, like u have essentially turned ember in to grendle with overguard and armor strip, just using 2 abilities out of the 4… its like a souless ember, id rather find a way to make her 3 main abilities work and use fireball friendzy or roar or nourish for her first, i play a frame bc i like the kit and make due with that if necessary replacing an ability that isn’t really to synergistic like fireball on ember or revenant’s 4th. But thats just me

That's cool but you ran with 2 revenants buffing you with mesmer, so this is kinda misleading.
