Cheers! As an ex-pat I wanted to reminisce about the town I was born in and lived in until I was 13. Great shot of Ruff Woods, brought back a lot of memories.

Im glad you enjoyed it. Edge Hill is a lot bigger than you would remember. Most of the site you see in the video was all farmers fields until about 5 years ago (the sports centre, football pitches, pond and the path around the outside).

Lovely footage captured, looking into getting a drone. Is this model easy to use for beginners. ?

Thanks. I was a beginner when i filmed this. My piloting and filming skills improved.
I would highly recommend the Phantom 3 Pro. I bought mine second hand, used it for 6 months then got the same price back for it when I sold it (only sold it cos I needed the money).
The drone hovers at a static location using GPS and ultrasound until you give it a command using the controller. So you can let go of the controls and it just hovers (unlike the cheap ones that are much harder to fly).
You can view what the drone sees live on your smartphone or tablet. One of the differences between the Phantom 3 Pro vs the lesser Phantom 3 models are that the live images can be transferred much further and the range is much longer (I had about 3 miles out of it without modification). It also has a 4k camera vs 1080p. All phantom 3s are great though and cheaper to buy now they're superseded.
If the drone flies out of range or the signal is lost for whatever reason, it will automatically return to the take off location using GPS and land.
It has smart batteries that prevent you from flying miles away from you and then the batteries dying. Instead, it will automatically return to home when battery level gets low. It calculates how much battery is needed to return.
It didn't have hazard avoidance like the newer models. I did fly it into a tree but fortunately caused no damage.
All in all, it's easy to learn the basics and has plenty of additional features to keep you busy once you start to master it. I wish I still had it but needed the money and sold it. I'd have another.
