Yeah......I am definitely buying this. I went to America 8 years ago and had these pancakes in this diner and I fell in love with them. They were absolutely nothing like thin pieces of crap pancakes we make in the UK. They were thick and tasty. Since then I have tried to make them the way they made them and they have never come out right. I think I definitely need this.
Vince Vetere It works perfectly. Don't let anyone troll you. If you spray the pan like Jack did, you will be fine. I have 1 of these pans & I've never had a problem with it.
I use this product for cooking fried eggs and for making egg patties for a quick, perfect sandwhich. It has really paid for itself in the long run. 10/10 would recommend.
I actually really like how prepared you are for your vids, I also dig the laid back approach to reviewing, I always want to know if those As Seen On TV products actually work. Thanks for making great videos Jack.
when i was a manager at walgreens we got these for a cost of $3 each. we then marked them up to 19.99. i wonder if there is a dollar store knock off for these yet?
I received 1 as a give-away and like you said, i wouldnt use it for pancakes (unless maybe for kids) but i totally would for eggs. Also, i'd like to include that the 1st time i used it, my pan on 1 side had brown spots (like burn marks) when i removed it from my burner. Maybe its bc i have an electric stove, idk, but people should be aware that it may get discolored pretty quickly
I bought this pan last week and loved it..and yes it does work as long as you follow the simple instructions..i plan on getting the brownie pan and perfect meatloaf pan..I just love these as seen on TV products
it's actually not just him this is like the 5th youtuber i've seen sponsor audible, i'm guessing since it's a new company but i'm totally checking it out, after all i have all these free books i can hear now thanks to youtubers
I'm literally impressed with this, at first I didn't think that it would actually have a snowball of a chance at either the eggs or pancakes working out..I might just have to go out and invest in one of these and just give it a whirl maybe I can find it cheap enough who knows..lol..Awesome video as ever Jack!!
actually my friend, thats exactly what a crepe is - a french thin pancake. people tend to think of it as a separate dessert, but its actually just a fancy ass pancake haha. and that is what i mean. europe makes the pancakes thin. the only country/region i will not include in this is GB. but ive eaten pancakes from france to russia. all thin :) my mom is not french, yet her pancakes are crepe-thin. doesnt matter tho! theyre all delicious
You have a really good point. A lot of people give their credit card thinking they have to manually subscribe after the free trial, when in fact it is the opposite. Companies should make that clearer. I completely agree.
Now THIS is a great pan. I plan to order it next week. Thanks for reviewing both of the "pancake pans" so I could make a decision. This one is far better in my opinion too, because it cooks more than one at a time and didn't stick at all. The eggs looked great and were cooked like I like them. Great job for a good item!
A 2oz ladle will make a perfect 1/4 cup scoop of batter. Also way faster. More pancakes, more fun! Also best part about the eggs is that if you have someone who likes overeasy (me) and someone who likes scrambled (Her) then you can do BOTH AT ONCE and not need to wait for the other one to cook and/or dirty another pan. Also I can imagine two pancakes, an egg, and some ham being used to make a one-off breakfast sammich that might make me McGRIN in the morning.
I was really skeptic about this pan, thinking that when you turned it raw batter/egg would ooze its way out of the pan, but this made me pleasantly surprised. My issue would be when you lifted the lid, all the spray butter slid down onto your stove top. That may bother me enough to not want to use it... would be nice to see them fix that problem with an updated pan.
He said he was being honest, Feedback is important, and he nailed it pretty well too. It rips us out from the experience and it's too long. I'm all for advertising and making money though so don't get me wrong, but he's not wrong either. The way you ended the video was a good quick reminder and was much better! Either way, I am SOLD on the Perfect maker. I suck at doing eggs. -Link584
Love this review! Been wanting one for the longest but seen some other reviews that didn't turn out so good. Your review has changed my mind and I'm gonna buy it.
@@taykay7831 Yes I did and it works great for pancakes, eggs take on the circular shape and are perfect for breakfast sandwiches but do not flip the pan with eggs or else you'll have a mess lol ask me how I know lol. The flat side is perfect for cooking flour/corn tortillas, quesadillas, grilled cheese sandwiches. I recommend this product 👌
Your my favorite chef in the world ! I wish you were in good tv most of this so called chefs aren’t half as talented as you love your lazy man recipes I use them all the time ❤
okay. All the videos have annotations to click link down below or to use all lowercase letters. My next video will be correct. Thanks for your help. sorry to frustrate you. I fully understand now.
I actually disable ads (through adblocker) and only turn them on when watching videos, or visiting sites, that I support. I don't like watching a video with a minute long unskippable ad to find out it's something I didn't want anyway, unless it's someone or something I support. ;] Also I didn't mean to sound rude or angry or anything, sorry if I came off that way. (hard to really tell due to text anyway :p)
Our local pancake mix expands, so 2 and half minutes in when he was filling them up, I was like, "No, you going to overflow!". I got an electric pancake maker that has a dual heating element, but definitely buying this when that breaks. Just sad it is not induction capable, but I have a spare normal hotplate.
my french friends call all pancakes always crepe. there is frankly no other word. the french way of making pancake is without soda or baking powder. a quick batter for a quick dessert. i hope u understand when i say that every crepe is a pancake, but not every pancake is a crepe haha ;) crepe is in the pancake family, so is my pancake, and so is the american pancake. they all just have their own twist.
Hey Jack, that pancake pan may work great with pancakes on one side, and eggs on the other, for our Breakfast tacos... You and Jack Jr. would have a blast with it. and our Singles for our Pancake Tacos!
I definitely need this. I'm terrible at flipping both pancakes and eggs. I make two extra eggs in case I break a yolk when I flip it (which happens more often than not). The dog gets the broken ones. No more eggs for you, dog. I'm asking Santa for this pan.
Audible.com with their free trials ^^ I wonder how many complain after they realize that these trials cost after 30 days xD It's just hillarious when you have those guys ^^
smoothleb18799 Yeah... if you got a gas stove, why would you want to use a cheap thing like that and make tiny half dollar size pancakes? My mother had a pancake grill made of slate (stone) that spanned two burners and made amazing full size pancakes... two at at time!
Barb5001 I don't think you realise how small a half dollar is and how big those pancakes are compared to them, besides, kids don't eat a lot of food, making giant panckes for them would possibly end up with them wasting it. Thisis just simple and easy, stop finding a reason to hate.,
When I first saw this I thought "another stupid ploy" and this is coming from someone that loves kitchen gadgets. If you use a measuring cup you can make the same size pancakes every time. But after watching you use it, I think it's more about the easy flipping. Many people have a hard time with that. And yeah, like you said, containing your eggs, I totally see that. It's a cheap pan so many are not going to get even cooking, although it seemed pretty even in your video. Thanks, Jack!
I might be one of many to comment about this but I wonder if you can make scrambled eggs with this. If you scrambled the eggs 1st & poured em' in. I know they'd come out round but I'm sure if it worked they'd taste the same. & perfect shape for a sandwich.
Hey Jack, I bet you can make cute little omelets! For the whole family, everyone can put what they want in it. That'd be cute if you could do that. There's a of things you can do with it. Which is great. Its a great camping addition!
I see a huge design flaw or maybe two. One the handle should be longer if its going to get so hot that you can't hold all the handle two the handle should have a locking mechanism. I could see how someone could easily burn themselves and have their eggs and pancakes spill out all over the stove. Honesty I think I could in theory come up with a locking mechanism for it if the people who make that want it.
HEYY!! you GOTTA TRY THIS! my friend got this..he takes chocolate cake mix...cooks it with this pan and puts white frosting on it...BAM! instant homemade suzie-q :) let me know if you try it.
it might do well on a gas stove, but the metal gets scorched on electric eyes, i think the metal is cheap and could catch on fire if it gets to hot from what I've experienced
Tanya Barron Depends on how you treat it. After the first initial was in soapy water before using, avoid washing it in detergent, just wipe it clean or just use plain water and don't put it in your dishwasher.
I did it and it worked great, hubby goes and does and it does not. I have no idea what he did wrong, but it's like the reversal King Midas touch, everything Richie touch turns to crap!
Hey Jack could you maybe have someone with and Electric stove give the pan a shot? I would like to see if there is a heating difference on Electric VS Gas with the pan since I live in an apartment and all I get to cook on is an electric stove.
Seems a great product. Would just like to check, how do we know if it's the original pan? There are those selling it online at around $10. Is that how much it cost?
I'm a fan of Bisquick. Something bothers me about the pancake mixes that say "just add water". Bisquick uses eggs and milk and IMO turns out much better.
Just a question... what did you set the heat at for those two dishes? And would the heat setting make much of a difference with this pan? Thanks in advance!
Bought this about 2 months ago. I love it and use it almost everyday for pancakes or eggs.
Yeah......I am definitely buying this. I went to America 8 years ago and had these pancakes in this diner and I fell in love with them. They were absolutely nothing like thin pieces of crap pancakes we make in the UK. They were thick and tasty. @@nilesefrancis9894 hello dear !please why it didn't work for you??
FOUND MINE AT THE 99 CENT STORE!!!!
...For $1.99.
wow, you got ripped off xD
Mine was 3.00$ there....haha
Aerodeth Same. I love mine not just for pancakes but for toasting bagels, crispy English muffins, hash browns, etc.
DAMN THATS WHATS IM TALKING ABOUT HOPE I FIND ONE!!
Aerodeth wow great deal
I use this product for cooking fried eggs and for making egg patties for a quick, perfect sandwhich. It has really paid for itself in the long run.
10/10 would recommend.
Does this work on a gas stove? Just ordered it and now have concerns.
Yes. Works fine on a gas stove.
I actually really like how prepared you are for your vids, I also dig the laid back approach to reviewing, I always want to know if those As Seen On TV products actually work. Thanks for making great videos Jack.

The brand name of those pancakes makes me think of a fast food chain that we have here in Australia here Burger King is known as Hungry Jack's
I bought this pan last week and loved it..and yes it does work as long as you follow the simple instructions..i plan on getting the brownie pan and perfect meatloaf pan..I just love these as seen on TV products
Alejandra Sanchez sexy
SO glad this product works! I found one about a week ago, but was unsure if I should get it or not. Next time I can, I'm totally buying one :'D
I hope u washed it first
This product reminds me of that movie "The Sitter." "Mom! Hey mom! They finally perfected the pancake! It's the perfect pancake! Mom! Look!."
is the Perfect Pancake Pan really perfect? Watch and see. Perfect Pancake Pan - product review
Hi from 2020
I've read this book at least 3 times and it's AMAZING!
I am getting this for my next holiday.
yes. I had taken it out of the box once before to make sure I had all the parts which was just the pan. LOL I wanted to have it ready for the show.
What is the point of non-stick if you spray it with cooking spray
I totally agree
Thank you!! This made my decision easier LOL for my 5 year old who LOVES pancakes!!!!
edwardsrc7 how? it is basically the same as a normal pan
Sunshine4695 Exactly! It's not worth the money when you have a normal pan.
AWESOME IDEA!!!! Thank you, I will give it a try the next time he asks me to fix them.
Nice review Jack, would be interesting to make somekind of minipitas with this!
it's actually not just him this is like the 5th youtuber i've seen sponsor audible, i'm guessing since it's a new company but i'm totally checking it out, after all i have all these free books i can hear now thanks to youtubers

it's on my list. I saw it at target.

hey jack ! i don't have all those ingredient of yours but i found some alternatives anyway haha ! thanks ! i'm from PH btw
You don't have to count to 3 to flip it. Just flip. 😂
I had the perfect pancake once but it was useless so I decided to sell it for an amateur to use. I flip pancakes fine
I love my perfect pancakes pan
yes you can
My oldest daughter loves cooking on College campus I'll have to get her one of these ❤❤😘😘😉

The Easy Egg Cracking Ring. Love It!

the pancakes this makes will fit the Hamilton Beach Sandwich maker. I tried it and they fit perfectly. no pun intended. :o)
Funny that you didn't mention the fact that I turned off the intro commercials. See how subtle that was.
I bought this I love it

it did leave a drippy mess but wiped up no problem. Kinda weird. It wasn't enough to keep me from using it again.
I jist bought mind for 3.99 at ross really cheap

it might do well on a gas stove, but the metal gets scorched on electric eyes, i think the metal is cheap and could catch on fire if it gets to hot from what I've experienced
yes. If you mean an electric stove.
I spotted some at my local Rite Aid for around $20!
If you sprayed it with enough cooking spray, then you should be able to just have them slide out when you tilt the pan.
I was skeptical, but after testing it out, the pancakes were really fluffy. I just hope it stays nonstick.
Tanya Barron Depends on how you treat it. After the first initial was in soapy water before using, avoid washing it in detergent, just wipe it clean or just use plain water and don't put it in your dishwasher.
that actually looks great, probably wouldn't work well unless you have a gas stove though.
they should still slide out of their compartments straight on to the plate.
I did it and it worked great, hubby goes and does and it does not. I have no idea what he did wrong, but it's like the reversal King Midas touch, everything Richie touch turns to crap!
Can you do a life hacks show for cooking?
Hob/stove are the same thing, their line of products is pretty darn good so far! Whats next? :D
Hey Jack could you maybe have someone with and Electric stove give the pan a shot? I would like to see if there is a heating difference on Electric VS Gas with the pan since I live in an apartment and all I get to cook on is an electric stove.

You should read the giver by Louis Lowry , I had to read it for school and I was dreading it ,but it was amazing . :)
The pancake part of it doesn't really appeal to me. I don't eat them. But the perfect fried eggs really grabs my attention.
I'm a fan of Bisquick. Something bothers me about the pancake mixes that say "just add water". Bisquick uses eggs and milk and IMO turns out much better.
Jack, did you try to cook some kind of sandwich (just like they do in the official infomercial)? Or some grilled cheese?
Thanks and great video.
Just a question... what did you set the heat at for those two dishes? And would the heat setting make much of a difference with this pan? Thanks in advance!
Hey jack can you review the bella cotton candy maker. Its 39.99 at target and you can use sugar free hard candy
you should try the pan with no spray to see if there is a difference.
great video as always! Big up from sweden
Eggcllent lookin eggs at the end there! Another successful product review! Well done as always Jack!
you should do a product review on the EZ pour no drip spout
did you name your first kid jack as well?
