Congratulations Shiva. Brilliant and noble touch, decisive attitude. This Mazurka is a real gem and you render it perfectly. Thank you so much for sharing it with us! 🎉🎉
Oh wow, dear Shiva! Such a monumental piece, and you totally nailed it! It seems that Chopin composed this Mazurka exclusively for giant-hands pianists. You play it like your hands can stretch to a 10th or 11th! Nice!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Dear Dino, thank you very much for your kind words!🌹My hands are actually small if you can see in the videos. I cannot reach a 9th comfortably, much less a 10th or 11th. 😂 I think what you're referring to are the arpeggiated chords, which are easier to play because you can swing your wrist and arm to reach the farther notes. In this score, these chords are arpeggiated, so it's rather easy to play. But there are pieces in which large chords are solid (unarpeggiated), so I have to arpeggiate them anyways if I try to play them. Because of my small hands, I am very careful about the pieces that I choose to play. There are so many pieces that I'd love to play but choose not to because of my small hands. 😞
@ Well, although you may have small hands, your performances are huge, dear Shiva! I don’t expect to be playing any monster-hands pieces in my future, and I’m ok with it. There is more than enough beautiful music to make without having the hand size of Liszt or Rachmaninoff! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
oioioi Shiva, this Mazurka of Fryderyk Chopin seems really difficult, at least to me as a beginner. I do like here the pauses with fermata/calderón, so that it gets more beautiful and calm. Very nice performance🔅👏👏
Thank you very much dear Inaki! 🌹 Yes, I love the fermatas too as they give you time to breathe and refresh. This mazurka is actually not that hard, it may look hard at first glance but it's one of the easier ones in my opinion. 😊
Nice performance perfect song🎉
