L'Occitane- Cade Shaving Soap Review

Mostly vegetable soap, some EDTA in it though. Scent of the soap is medium and its a sweet woddy and floral scent, a bit powdery.
Well performing lather and the slickness was average.
Slight post shave irritation

Brush: Muhle Silvertip Fibre
Soap: L'Occitane- Cade
Razor: Gillette slim adjustable
Blade: Gillette Wilkinsonsword
A/S: Noberu of Sweden Sandalwood Balm

I love the cade scent!!
I've had my soap since 2009 and it's not even half used. It still smells great and performs really well. Glad I have it in my rotation.
Don't worry much about edta as it doesn't penetrate the skin and it's fairly harmless. It's used to bind minerals in the water to help with lather production.

Another good shave! I have theCade cream and matching aftershave, and it is excellent. I wish l'occitane would make a shave soap in the l'occitan (lavender) and eau de baux (cedar&incense). However ,Cade is nice.
