nice video. What do I wrong if the windows appear like black holes? I use HDRI Sky and everything looks fine but a little bit more glas character would be nice
Hi LeereSpiegel: when doing glass material you have to take care of the following notes: - no color or black color to be assigned on the color channel - brightness should be taken to minimal (5% max) in order not to see white spots on the surface of the glass - you have to add and HDRI on the reflectance channel - don't maximize transparency to 100% as this will turn glass into air. put as high as 98% to have more realistic results. try above steps and let me know how it goes :)
hello Mr. . Thanks alot of what you, ve done .. n iwant to ask u for a tip, the render shot it's really takes too much time n some time more than 3 hours n not finished , , I really don't know what to do :(
Glad it helped Razan I am actually planning on creating another tutorial for optimizing render time. Just bear with me and give me some time. Until then try to minimize the settings in global illumination, that will save you some time ...
thanks for video, but to much offtopic! But regarding rendering, no matter what engine. Start with composition very important,do alot of test render low quality with lights testing(clay materials and glass), when this look great, start with materials ( maybe a new archicad scene, with only a cube) and the same light as youre main image) to save render time! cinrender is crazy slow comparing to vray/corona. export all materials to main scene. then punsh up render settings, remember, chose a very big pixl image (min 3000x4000) for better quality in final render. you wil also have more to work with in post production in photoshop!
It's the same engine buddy regardless you export the model to c4d or 3ds ( you ll end up with the same results, same quality ) If you need to improve the quality and processing time you better consider advanced engines like Arnold, Vray and Maxwell.
Great tutorial, very helpful. You just need to work on your speech...try to avoid using like all the time when you speak, it was painful to listen to when you say it a bunch of times.
you are the best...the only person who took the time to talk about cinerender settings..thnx alot
Helpful. You need to reduce the offtopic though, I lost my focus several times.
sorry, will take care at next videos
Can you please tell me what minute in the video do you talk about the windows not being black in the rendering?
يعطيك الف عافية ... ياريت لوعندك أي فيديو ات بعلمو عطريقة الرندر بالأرشيكاد باللغة العربية بكون ممنونك .
Tnx man you helped me, I appreciate your work.Thaks once more time :)

do you think that we dont need to export archicad file any more in cénema 4d or 3ds max ??,,,,,i think cenerender is so strong too
