You’re changing mindsets and attitudes and that’s what we need the most. When mindset and attitudes change, development and significant progress will be inevitable.

    You are absolutely right, KSM.
The crop of leaders we have are a reflection of ourselves.

Very salient point, most kooo bibini do not think critically or do sober reflection on triggering issues. "Too emotional"
If the bibini's mind enlightened, most churches WILL close down!!!

My bro, how can koobibini's mind be enlightened when you worship the ancestors of your oppressors and condemn your ancestors who shed their blood for your existence? Centuries of your mis-education plus the religion of your oppressors and the gatekeepers of your oppressors is what has brought you this far!
Your hated ancestors protected your river and land bodies for you lot to standby to see its destruction by foreigners! Are you for real????

With the exception of the late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, in general, we are the reflection of our leaders across the board for better or worse.

The most even-tempered, insightful show so far. He makes you reflect on the disheartening happenings in the country while suppressing your biases. I favour Mahama, but this episode makes me critique all Mahama's promises with fervor

My fundamental disagreement though is where it is argued that leadership is a reflection of a people. Where then lies the relevance of leadership. Instead, the people are a reflection of leadership. Singapore, Malaysia, the Arab States are but few examples. Who creates the needed systems-LEADERSHIP; Who makes the laws LEADERSHIP; Who controls the resources LEADERSHIP; Who institutes controls to ensure enforcement - LEADERSHIP. Yet in our African settings, Who bypasses all these systems - LEADERSHIP; Who abuses the resources - LEADERSHIP; Who flout the laws with impunity - LEADERSHIP. How can anything better be expected of the people if the above type of leadership is what they are offered. Difference making among a people is critical in good leadership, not conformist who replicate (in grand style) wrong doings of societies they emerge from, once they're put up there. The least said about the FIX YOURSELF mentality, the better. So like Lee Kuan Yu and the few difference makers, the leaders must be transformers of society and not the other way round, else we have no business talking LEADERSHIP.

While I agree with you KSM on this, the fact remains whatever score card we use to appraise our leaders, the truth is that they are who or what we call them. Yɛŋ aa nso yɛ kã hõ. That's true, but in as much as we are advocating for a change of our mindsets, they too should change their attitude. Simple!!!

@@mila2742 What have I done oo Mila? Let's be brutally honest, anyone following KSM for about a year now through the prism of political objectivity, knows he has a soft side for the ndc. I'm okay with that but what I can stand is for him to be pretentious about it by coming up with these pious platitudes on leadership.

@@cojoopoku4946 Since 2018, I've been rooting for NDC, meanwhile, I've only ever voted for NPP (in 2004 & 2016). I used to love NPP to the extent that I went to the Bantama office twice, for a membership card. Fortunately, I was asked to come back later & never did. Our experiences shape our perspectives & convictions. You see, we all experience life differently & it shapes how we view issues. Personally, I was BETTER off during the Kuffour, Mills, & Mahama eras. I've lost investments under this government & do not trust Bawumia to do any better. Will you say I'm NDC??? I won't begrudge you for saying "yes" but nothing can be further from the truth. Relax after reading this, don't come writing me plenty 'brofo' cuz I don't have the strength to read 📖 📖 .
