- Kim Iversen breaks down the Associate Press and Reuters' fact check on the true impact of mRNA vaccines.
According to the CDC mRNA vaccines do not contain any live virus. Instead, they work by teaching our cells to make a harmless piece of a “spike protein,” which is found on the surface of the virus that causes COVID-19. After making the protein piece, cells display it on their surface. Our immune system then recognizes that it does not belong there and responds to get rid of it. When an immune response begins, antibodies are produced, creating the same response that happens in a natural infection.
In contrast to mRNA vaccines, many other vaccines use a piece of, or weakened version of, the germ that the vaccine protects against. This is how the measles and flu vaccines work. When a weakened or small part of the virus is introduced to your body, you make antibodies to help protect against future infection.
Both messenger RNA (mRNA) and viral vector COVID-19 vaccines work by delivering instructions (genetic material) to our cells to start building protection against the virus that causes COVID-19.
After the body produces an immune response, it discards all the vaccine ingredients just as it would discard any information that cells no longer need. This process is a part of normal body functioning.
The genetic material delivered by mRNA vaccines never enters the nucleus of your cells, which is where your DNA is kept. Viral vector COVID-19 vaccines deliver genetic material to the cell nucleus to allow our cells to build protection against COVID-19. However, the vector virus does not have the machinery needed to integrate its genetic material into our DNA, so it cannot alter our DNA.
According to the CDC all COVID-19 vaccines currently available in the United States are effective at preventing COVID-19. Getting sick with COVID-19 can offer some protection from future illness, sometimes called “natural immunity,” but the level of protection people get from having COVID-19 may vary depending on how mild or severe their illness was, the time since their infection, and their age.
Getting a COVID-19 vaccination is also a safer way to build protection than getting sick with COVID-19. COVID-19 vaccination helps protect you by creating an antibody response without you having to experience sickness. Getting vaccinated yourself may also protect people around you, particularly people at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19. Getting sick with COVID-19 can cause severe illness or death, and we can’t reliably predict who will have mild or severe illness. If you get sick, you can spread COVID-19 to others. You can also continue to have long-term health issues after COVID-19 infection.
While COVID-19 vaccines are effective, studies have shown some declines in vaccine effectiveness against infections over time, especially when the Delta variant was circulating widely.

I will always defer to Dr. Robert Malone. Found him early on in the Pandemic and he has been the most knowledgeable source to date. Thankfully, I have a great family doctor who did not recommend that I get the vaccine. I'm 43 and healthy. Nor was I forced by my employer.

As a scientist, I argued that we don't know and can't say what these vaccines will do when they came out, and I lost a couple of friends who "knew better".

My grandfather got the pokey poke and had to get a valve replacement in his heart. Doctors told him they did not understand how his valve deteriorated that fast from the last time they saw him. Luckily he is still Alive, but swears up and down the pokey poke was the culprit because of how everything went down hill including his health and energy.

Here in Australia we are the perfect case study for the effectiveness of the vaccine with our 95% fully vaxxed population. Over 90% of our COVID cases & deaths are post-vaccination - I think that speaks for itself. COVID cases are still rising daily, with many people having repeat infections. Interestingly they don't seem to be focusing on research explaining the vaccine's failure to stop infection & transmission, which before this pandemic were the two main prerequisites for a vaccine .

@@melanieparis8697 I think it would be close to that. I only know 2 people out of hundreds that aren't vaxxed. They made it mandatory to work, socialise or travel so people felt they had no choice but to comply. They dropped the mandates when they reached 95% fully vaxxed, right at a time when COVID rates were soaring which is ironic as we had 2 years of hard lockdowns for a handful of cases. Whatever's in the vax, they want it in everyone.

Many people looked at Lund's study while ago and weren't surprised about reverse transcription of mRNA from vaccines - reverse transcriptases are common enzymes and do what they are supposed to do efficiently, in vivo and in vitro. If you meant 'taking' vaccine then yes, I got three injections of recombinant protein produced by Novavax after enrolling in their clinical trials in 2021. I thought that this technology is more reliable and better understood - it's one step shorter than mRNA-based vaccine and induces direct immune response against target antigen. Did you see something wrong with Kim's analysis?

Definitely needs more research. The liver is where we metabolize most of what we put in our bodies along with the fact that liver cells have the unique ability to regenerate themselves. So placing the mRNA inside a strong, healthy liver could be like feeding it steroids bc it’s going to thrive in an environment that’s rich in oxygen (blood carries oxygen). Inconclusive means, more study meds to be done. Hence the reason why it takes about 10 years of research for any drug to get approval from the FDA for human use. Thank you for this….

They also play word games by including the word “permanently” so if it turns out that their fact check is wrong they can say “well yeah it alters the DNA, but it isn’t permanently”, so technically our fact check is right.

It's true that in vitro is distinct from in vivo, and you cannot assume what is true in vitro is also the case in vivo. BUT this is exactly where burdens of proof come in, such as the Precautionary Principle. This tells us the burden is on those who tout these vaccines to prove they do not alter DNA permanently. They have not done that. They have no right to assert anything. They don't know yet. They can _at most_ say they don't think so, but there is one in vitro study using mouse cell lines that raises the question.

Science is filled with debate. The hesitation is because it is still being debated as the evidence is not conclusive.

Factors to consider include the ratio and amount of mRNA added to the liver cells and if that is representative of how much mRNA is injected into our body. The other is that the scientists use a cell line passaged for years that may have accumulated mutations that affect LINE1 (the endogenous reverse transcriptase that in theory may convert RNA to DNA) expression. Whether or not the authors used a physiologically relevant system is a very important question.

I’m not a doctor or scientist, but I’m capable of making obvious observations with friends and family experiencing adverse reactions to the mRNA vaccines, some minor and some very serious. People were and are the test subjects…

I had a girlfriend who worked for an non profit aid group and her opinion was that GMO (Genetically Modified Food) should not be noted on packaging because it would scare people away from buying it. I tried to explain to her that people need to make informed decisions and that comes with them making ones you may not agree with. For the record, I'm not opposed to GMOs. I am opposed to not disclosing how the literal sausage is made. Same with vaccines or anything else we take into our bodies.
I think it’s more important to state whether or not there’s glyphosate in it. Not all GMO foods contain glyphosate, and not all foods containing glyphosate are GMO.

Yes I agree! It's a big deal in the fact that it supports many valid justifications in hesitancy, rightfully so. How can there be complete and thorough testing, no shortcuts taken, safe and effective efficacy, and actual informed consent when something so crucial is unknown, unproven, & requires more testing?
Emergency use authorization leaves room for such uncertainties to exist, and volunteers accept that,, but mandatory or work requirements should never be authorized to force people to approve such a medical procedure that's questionable to the extent of whether or not it alters your genetic DNA structure.
It's preposterous that anybody supports enforcement of such mandates/requirements. If people allow their fear of CV19 infection to override their better sense of judgment, why doesn't the possibility of altering their genetic makeup overall strike up as much or more of a concern since it's the worst of two evils when survival is the focus.
Also, I believe she knows it's a big deal, but her seemingly opposite toned monologue approach is required to pass hall monitor (censorship) checks. 😉

What absolutely should happen when the Conservatives get in, is hold a very large hearing with a lot of the doctors and scientists who were speaking out about these vaccines. Had to come watch this video cuz just got diagnosed and it was found that my liver increased in size. It's been 3years after the vaccine and am still having unbearable pains and nerve problems and am just 30. Digestion is messed up, breathing sometimes get difficult, headaches. Before the vaccine 3years ago I had never been sick. This is probably the worst mistake I ever made in my life for a job. I lost it and am getting help from family to be healthy. What a wicked world.

I think people are already quite upset... For years I only hear the ambulance siren 1 to 3 times a month, including 2020. Since last year, I hear the ambulance siren up to 13 times a day, almost everyday. It's only on very rare occasion that a day go by and I don't hear the ambulance siren going off. A lot of the siren go off in the early morning, and late at night.

My friends and family members that got vaccinated are suffering with permanent or deadly results with had no issues before vaccinated. Most were 3- 6 months to a year. Confirmed by perfessionals we didn't know when given the vaccines. I'm talking about 10- 12 people I know personally.

You totally missed the throat of the complaints and observations. It's that when the production method was changed from the initial low volume sampling to the very large scale the initial DNA was not filtered out. Bits and remnants remained. Those are in the millions of pieces. Those also entered the cell as the MRNA bricked the barrier. It's those pieces for DNA that combined at random that could provide the basis for many maladies undiagnosed previously.
