      Thanks for the tips. I was always popping too hard using my arms in an exaggerated motion. It gave me maximum air but it was a little harder to control in the air.

    Just wanted to say thank you for the awesome content! Really helping out my mediocre riding. Also just having someone to watch riding regular stuff but still being steezy af says a lot about you and your riding, keep it up and greetings from Germany

    4:55 LOL at the guy who non chalently rides past, just to get criticized by giant arrowy thingamajig.
    Moral of the story, watch out for giant arrowy thingamajigs! *Aaaah here comes one now, dodges out the way*

      Hahaha I know I feel bad to haunt him with such a random cosmic horror event, but it was such a good example of what I was talking about😂

    Cool to see how at: 4:36 the guy is making 2 of the mistakes resulting in his needing to lean to hold edge pressure!

      Right! I wish I noticed him. Would have been sick to pivot the video into live coaching haha

    And then there is the back-foot-skidding.

      When the form is grim and the day is bright the back foot skim will strike! Haha

      It’s all about the balanced position and getting on That edge before trying to turn.
      I’ll be making some more videos on this topic!!!
      Thank you for the comment and support 🙏🏻

    @SnowboardingExplained This video is very informative even for riders that have been snowboarding for a number of years. Do you have any recommendation on binding angles to make the board easier to control? From the video it is not easy to tell what angles you use but front foot seems to be around +15 and back one seems to be neutral position. Thanks!

    About not opening your hips: what if one rides with posi/posi angles?

    • @SnowboardingExplained
      @SnowboardingExplained  6 годин тому +1

      Then it moves to over opening your hips.
      What’s having your hips open Is in correlation to your stance. So if your riding posi posi, your based stacked position shifts around that.

    is doing an ollie in posi posi inherently more difficult/inefficient?

    • @SnowboardingExplained
      @SnowboardingExplained  5 годин тому +2

      Yes very! can still be done but it isn't as good. hence why skateboarders don't do it in posi posi stance. as far as i know at least hahaha
