I find Giannis really hard to build with. Punting the ft% means you got to target points, assists, steals and 3's throughout the early to middle points of the draft because the bigs later on in the draft that get immense value in the ft% build become targets. But every time I do this, I can never make up for the lack of points, 3's, assists and steals that the value bigs lack in the later parts of the draft. And then sometimes I end up too low in rebounds because I've been targeting the typical stats that a punt ft% struggles in throughout the draft. Maybe I just need more mock practice but I find it a really hard build to nail.
Huge fan of the LOFB league settings over the default Yahoo ones. Been following for a few years and hoping to get into the league this year! Keep up all the excellent content Josh, looking forward to the upcoming season.
Do you have or plan to make any content specific for best ball style drafts/ leagues? I love you content by the way even though I am not a big season long player and most of my basketball play is best ball.
Hey Mate, have signed up to LOFB a few times over the last week and haven’t got an invite (not in junk either). If there is anyway I could get in that would be amazing but all good if I can’t.
Josh just wondering how you say 1.2 threes from Portis is a weakness? He's a centre/pf and hits more 3's than guys like AD, Bam, Mobley, Sabonis, Giannis, Ayton, Sengun, Harteinstein, Zion, Duren etc. So I feel like 14,/7 boards and 1.2 threes are his 3 strengths? Throw in the fact that he doesnt hurt your ft%, he has low t/o then it's really just his lack of defensive stats. But as a pick after 110, I think it's okay.
The 2024 draft class is not that bad I don’t believe that… it is just lacking in can’t miss star talent as in none of the top picks would go top 3 or 4 in most classes but the talent and depth of the class beyond obvious top tier guys is actually solid. Tyler Smith could be a very good role player but I maintain that he does not have as high of upside as most of the lottery picks. That being said 175 could end up too low for dynasty but him being on the Bucks makes it tricky
If anyone has room for a extra spot in one of there espn fantasy leagues I’d be keen on jumping in , preferably points leagues as I’m new to fantasy bball Thanks
Are you confident in drafting Damian Lillard in the second round despite last season's challenges?
holy smokes, while under the lense, dame went from 32/33, to 34, and left at age 36😂. boy gonna be in hospice by preseason
That first camera on Glen during a TNT timeout will hit real nice. 'Cmon guys! We gotta PLAY! Let's go'
I won with Giannis last year! Definitely picked up some big value off the waiver wire but he was strong all year

Agree with this 100%, find it almost impossible to punt ft % without at least punting 3s
maybe targeting guards in the early rounds would help
he can kill fg% and tos too high, and if his stocks drop your kind of screwed, i would never draft giannis.

Giannis was excellent last year, I came second last year only because of injury
Was waiting for Paul Mokeski fantasy projections. I guess they'll just have to stay only in my journal.

It doesn’t really matter if he is above for a centre when he is almost 1 three below league average.
Chris Livingston had a growth spurt too, not anywhere near as big as Giannis, but still he got bigger and longer
with the kawhi news, does zubac get a slight boost? and if not him who does?
FIRE UP THE KPJ HYPE MACHINE
Zubac doesn't really take more usage IMO. Maybe Norm Powell
@@isaac.farrell but will his overall production be draftable?
@@brockarmstrong4093 of course. I think Zubac will do more this year
