The William Wister Haines “SLIM” Award holds a special place of prestige within SLTC’s Electrical Lineworker Program. This sought-after award is a symbol of excellence and is desired by students who aspire to be the best in the lineworker field.
To earn the title of SLIM students nominated from each Pole Circle must demonstrate an exceptional all-around mastery of linework skills and knowledge. Does this course get you a cdl and how likely are you getting a job upon graduation

Your about guaranteed to be able to be a union guy with ibew as an apprentice and don’t hold me to it but I believe cdl is not covered

Union requires a CDL so you cannot be guaranteed

Hey there! CDL is included in our program. Though we can't guarantee a job, we do offer placement assistance and have recruiters visiting to talk to students throughout the program. Many of our graduates have multiple job offers upon completion of the program, but placement depends largely on a person’s willingness to travel or relocate.
