The charly DVDs are used in the base game in one of the earliest quests called mother's day. You have to pick it up, along with other things, for Gazi, who is both insane and has a lot of medicine that you need.
I wouldnt say hes insane, but more of he has autism and when his mom died he couldnt get over the fact of it so he acted as if things hadnt changed

At 8:06 This is also and Assassins Creed refrence as the chest as simler engravings to the Ac Symbols and the chest resembles a chest in Ac Unity and Ac3. Also when you were walking out on the metel bar there was garbage bags underneath it resembling a haystack under a sync point where you can leap of faith.
Dying Light is such a fantastic game, can't wait for the sequel!

The house one is a reference to that "Lucius" game, where you kill that woman in the bath-tub.

So glad you included that THE ROOM Easter egg.. The first time I saw it I laughed my ass off. Thought I was the only person that ever saw that movie! Lmao
just went back down the rabbit hole which is this game, best story, with the best side missions, this game was my childhood, i need them to make an actual dying light 2, one which is a complete ending to the original dying light story, with all the side characters, like spike and the nurse from the og tower
i’ve found easter eggs in the original game and the following which have still never been found, never seen a video on them and never seen anyone talk about them, i have over 10k hours in this game bc i loved it so much and i wish it had a bigger community
the soundeffects for the alien one is perfect
There is actually a Walking Dead episode reference, in which Rick's group kills some walkers that were trap in a barn in Hershel's farm, and then inside of that barn was Sophia, a little girl they were looking for, but unfortunately she had already turned. You can find that barn with a screamer inside in the south part of the Following map, next to a house where you help a family that was trapped on their house.
Couldn't the paper aeroplane be a reference to yondu from guardians of the galaxy

Yeah, that's how ads work
The button is a refference to the teleporter from Henry Stickmin series. Its a joke from the developers of Henry Stickmin, where anytime you use the damn thing, it teleports Henry somewhere in the walls, or in a random place, or in freefall ( there is also a place Tolga's folly can teleport you above water and forces you to swim to the shore) .
The location of the Twilight Phantom sword is a reference to The Wind Waker in where the Master Sword is located in Hyrule Castle beneath The Great Sea.
The ‘Charley’ movie is the one you get for Gazi in the ‘Mother’s Day’ sidequest. I’m assuming that’s why it’s buried there.
The woman in the bathtub and the ghosts could be an eternal darkness reference.

11:09 could be a reference to the show “ugly americans” where a devil guy and a demon are trying reassassinate the now zombified Abraham Lincoln. In which the devil guy throws the demon (who is stuck in between dimensions thus looks like hes on paper) as a paper airplane and opens up to get an exploding like bomb kill

The marker you show on the map at 5:25 is incorrect it is actually about 100 yards SW of there. Maybe this was due to an update or oversight but i had to look up a different video just to find that chicken on the stick blueprint after looking for 20 minutes where u show its at and not finding it. :\
