Its actually not even a cut, its actually the game loading the last checkpoint extremely fast thanks to modern technology. You can't even see the entire death screen on a current PC but put the game on an older PC then it works like the OG Xbox and MCC version.
I like how he throws a Grenade that spawns health packs and then throws another expecting different results and its the same thing the first time and hes like: "are you serious."
This grenade has been the sole reason I had trouble passing The Maw. It was either chance it which I always got something that didn't explode or keep using the rocket launcher which was a nightmare since it's backwards. Thankfully the plasma grenade is so effective.
