Geeez, looks like a perfect day! Looks like Kawasaki with this new model made a step towards ordinary riders than racers and I'm all for that direction. Stay safe and have fun there on California's track.
Been riding husky for years but I think this year I’m truly sold on the kawi, I’ll keep husky for my woods race bikes but that kawi might be the new track bike
Did not do your normal spin the rear wheel before starting eh?! ; ) Q: Better than the 23' KTM350SX regarding overal lap times and consistency? You mentioned being able to ride faster for shorter periods on your KX450 vs 350 KTM....wondering if the new bike allows longer faster lap times since the power is still very Vet/Sr friendly or should I still stay on the 350? Thank you.
The one time I want to hop on a borrowed test bike and go! Haha she was in 1st gear from owner... For me at 6' and 185 lb., I'd be better/more consistent on the 24' KX450 compared to the 23' 350SX-F, for sure. I really liked the 2019-2022 350's and knew how to make the chassis/suspension work excellent (for me), but haven't found that comfort on the new (2023+) design just yet. The Kawi will feel like a bigger/heavier bike, both in physical length and when turning/at low throttle speeds, but for the 3rd/4th gear tracks I commonly ride/race it's a much safer feeling platform. Both good bikes, and it's nice the Kawi now has the same front brake stopping power that Austrian bikes have had for years. Cheers David

They're pretty awesome! Two bike plan is the best of both worlds: One dedicated woods racer and a proper track bike as well👍
