I am amazed at the number of lies in the New Testament. "Jesus was tried in five courts", (presumably in one night) the pastor says. No Roman court ever worked at night, nor any Jewish religious court. For trial of a person in Sanhedrin(the Jewish Supreme Court), a notice period of 40 days was required, and the court had to deliberate on two days before pronouncing punishment. The Roman senators who wrote the New Testament had poor knowledge of the Jewish customs and laws, thus creating enormous mistakes and lies.
This only shows your limited inquiry into the death of Jesus. What you are saying is true. The Sanhedrin was not supposed to gather at night. But they did for Jesus violating their own rules. Jesus was taken to Pilate in the morning, not at night. Follow the story in the gospels and count the trials of Jesus. Get your facts straight before you attacked someone.

The passion narrative in Matthew is fashioned after Hector of Iliad. The passion narrative of Luke is parallel of death narrative of Socrates.
