Awesome man. I relate to the tiny bit of wax on the rail and also telling yourself “little kids do this”. Been working on a similar fear with down rails
@@guenthergrasshopper7519 I love filming this series so I’ll continue. The UK weather is making it hard to get out and film but hopefully will get a chance soon
Now Ive done it I have no idea why it played on my mind so much. I think because of the height I was worried about jumping, losing my footing and rolling an ankle. I’ve been very weary of it since I broke it a couple years ago. Going to try the down rail next
Awesome job, dude! There's always that first mental hurtle. Then once you can get it on, then it's just baby steps of making it before actually making it I find noseslides less scary than boardslides too. Maybe because noseslides keep you "out" of the obstacle whereas boardslides keep you "in" the obstacle
@@bennyg949 Thanks man. Starting this series is really helping my motivation to just step outside my comfort zone and tackling tricks I know I’m capable of. Going to try and use the same mindset for the down rail next
Man same goes for me. I know I can do it, I did it already few years ago, but now I am not able to jump on the rail. Mental block. I am goinf to destroy it like you🎉
@@reapingshadow2866 you got it. Spend some time just throwing your board at it like I did. Really helped build my confidence. Also visualising that the rail is shorter than it actually is really helped build.

@@donovanhays yeah man the down rails is what I want to overcome soon. When I role up I know it’s easy but it’s just that first commitment

"little kids do this, come on man" 😂😂
@@yoursubconscious 😂 Gotta call myself out. They also seem to do the same down Hollywood 16 these days so I’ll apply the same logic then

@@RedBoard86 I think that’s exactly it even though so much more can go wrong with a nose slide it just feels a bit safer.
