"Show of hands" as in what can you use to put on a show with your hands... You can use fingers, sticks, gloves... You are a puppet master. It's a bit vague, but I think it works.
I put PUPPETSHOW in as the spangram about 20 times, just could not believe it wasn’t the answer. Now I’m realizing it never could’ve been, since the word SHOW is in the title.
I found finger and stick and immediately thought of a cuticle stick. I then looked for words having to do with a visit to a nail salon. It took a while to get the spamgram right even after I saw it...the letters were weirdly placed.

The spangram was baffling on this one (until i found it, at least)
