"Years ago i was in a Barcelona studio to record my new album Nuevo Horizonte, excited to have Jorge Pardo and Carles Benavent with me. Then, as i was mixing one of my guitar instrumentals, it happened: the legend of Cante Flamenco, the great Parrita was passing by and on hearing my tune he came back to hear it, asking if it was my composition, if it was me playing, and saying that i was neither gipsy nor spanish but that i had flamenco in my veins. I was really touched. He said he wanted to put it into words and sing to it, i was delighted and thanked him. He did it on the spot, writing the words in a few minutes. When i heard his voice over my instrumental composition the feeling was overwhelming. That song would forever remain a precious masterpiece for me. It was really an honour and still today, now you are no longer with us, your voice enriches the notes with your passion , power and love for music. Thank you Parrita.. from the bottom of my heart !" Esto se grabó hace 26 años en Barcelona y durante todos estos años se pudo escuchar online y encontrar en plataformas. Parrita escuchó mi tema de guitarra y le gustó tanto que decidió ponerle voz. Fue un encuentro muy lindo. Nunca juzgues mal sin saber la verdad. ¡Un gran artista!
