I live in France, and there’s a ballet store 5min from my apartment. It literally looks like an aesthetic dream. I can imagine that it would be really nice to live near a ballet store if you’re a ballet dancer. I also know that, for those who don’t live in cities, some people have to travel quite far to get shoes if they aren’t part of a company. So, I can imagine why some may order off of Amazon instead of going to a store, despite them not being great or potentially not good for you due to it not fitting right.
Given their strength level, I don't think it's as dangerous to do this as people seem to think. It's not like they are trying to do a whole class in a shoe that doesn't really fit properly.

No I wouldn’t, you need the go ahead from your teacher before you start pointe. I would see if you really wanna get back into ballet again and once your teacher gives you the go ahead get professionally fitted and buy real pointe shoes not these fake amazon ones cause i don’t want you to break something 😅😅

Personally i’d just get ballè pointies from a professional not from Amazon because imagine risking getting hurt,you might save money but if your looking on something cheap and something that will last you a few months then i’d definitely recommend the Amazon pointies,but if your looking for something safe unriksable i’d definitely suggest getting pointies off a professional. Gotta be careful with Amazon pointe shoes. Some of them are pretty good, but sadly they don’t last as long as we want them to. It’s a roll of the dice in finding the good from the bad (in my experience).

I bought 2 different brands of pointe shows and I was fairly surprised with the quality, both works quite well. 1st came pre sewn, the 2nd ones I had to sew. Tho the ribbin began to unravel as I used them.
