I wasn’t a rich kid but we bought a new left over in 1977 and had probably 1000 hours of the best memories one could have my friends and I still talk about this little Honda to this day
Great little bike! I purchased a broken down one when I was twelve years old. Spent about $100.00 dollars on parts, I did all the work myself, and I got it running well. Great fun! 👍
In '89 I learned to ride on a '74 MR50. We installed a DG head and exhaust later on and it ripped. I've been hooked ever since. Currently on a '20 KTM 300 XCFW and a '23 KTM 450 XCFW.
Neighbor kid had one in his garage that sat with a flat tire for like 5 years. I would beg to go into the garage just so I could sit on it. Such an amazing bike!
Would have Loved to have had this bike 55 years ago but this little Honda wasn't invented yet.So I had to settle for a 4hp mini bike with about 2 inches of suspension in front and no rear shocks. We couldn't afford one of those anyway.
Cool little vintage dirtbike. I would have loved one as a little kid. However, I was 1 years old, when this bike just came out. I would definitely be an excellent learner's bike to learn how to shift and operate a clutch on.
i never got the Briggs and stratton mini bike, my first bicycle was made up from parts from the local tip as an 8 year old kid, its a beautiful bike, a great Christmas present for a young or big kid, and the best part is that it will just go up in value, a Crissy present thats also an investment
I got the Honda cub 50 , at about 10 years old , because it was about £30 but it was old an fast , was from 70s an would not die , we called it chicken shit racing lol
I built a swimming pool for a gentleman that had one almost as nice! I offered him $3,000 for it in 1998. He was surprised at my offer but still turned it down. He wanted to teach his grandson how to ride on it. 😎👍
Where's your santa suit Kaptain ? In 71 got a Yellow Galaxy Chopper for Christmas. After breakfast my sister put it in the fence .Rode it bend forks and all F it.
AWESOME AMAZING FANTASTIC ! ! ! ! ! !

I got one for my birthday in 1976 👊🏼
I had forgotten all about that little bike, thank you for bringing back some of my favorite childhood memories.
As a life long HONDA OWNER, this is the bike I wish I had 40 years ago.
But learning on the CT70, as my first bike was good enough!!
I got a Blue Trail 50 for My 5th Birthday, but I Secretly envied the MR 50 Owners.
