A great cast of mature actors with a mixture of good humour,twisted plots, sadness and of course romance.. Main characters did their director proud I'm sure, Chai Biyun superbly played the twins, giving them their own personality. The supporting actors definitely filled the gaps in this drama with great acting. Thoroughly enjoyed the hilarious character Li Weiwei,Li dongs sister,Shen tao ran put her all in this character. As the Bible says "The sin's of the Fathers, fall on the children," This drama definitely portrayed that.

I was.rooting for meyia. Her so called girl friend got what is coming to her. That is what Meyia went through when her engagement was called off. Besides she crossed the line. A friend would not treat a friend would not do that. I am glad they got back together. I was hoping to see the wedding.
(Spoilers will be mentioned below) To Be With You is by far one of my favorite dramas that I continue to rewatch, I never get tired of it. I will always have sympathy for Meiya, out of the whole series, to me anyway, Meiya is the one who went through the most and no matter how many people stepped on her, tore her down and hurt her/betrayed her, she stayed her most loving, innocent, trustworthy self. To be honest, I didn’t want her back with the ML, wish she would have given the second ML a chance and I believe she would have if it wasn’t for her sister. Major Blow: Meiya first boyfriend, her childhood friend and later sweetheart, cheated on her while she was away in Paris with the guy shown in this clip sister and broke it off with her on the second day of her being back home… that was devastating to witness. Major Blow: Meiya father ended up in the hospital a day after Meiya and the ML had to call it quits and her close “best friend” tells Meiya that she is now with him and they are getting engaged. This close “best friend” took advantaged of the ML weak moment, it was after he broke it off with Meiya and he was drowning himself in drinking which in turn resulted in him passing out so her friend seen this as a opportunity to get undressed and sleep in the same bed to give him the idea they slept together. This by the way was never brought up after the fact or even let known to Meiya that it didn’t actually happen. Meiya, the ML, and wrenched friend have a sit down sometime after this clip here where the friend apologizes, Meiya should’ve of never of given her that. Major Blow: Meiya twin sister friend begs Meiya to give the second male lead to her sister, Meiya with the type of person she is chose to let the second male lead go and not look at him in that way. There are so many more blows that I can’t think of right now since I’m on break at work but it was like she was constantly having to fight against others because of their messes not hers. Besides Meiya father and the second ML, everyone else hurt her. It was heartbreaking to watch all that she had to go through, she couldn’t catch a break and was always worrying about something or someone while putting her own happiness aside. The way the ML hurt Meiya instead of explaining, especially with her friend, how he handled everything is why I wished they never got back together.
Everyone commenting that he was heartless to leave her earlier. But he did was the best and he did all he could to find out the truth, and ran back to her the moment he got evidence .
My dear ♥ l think he rushed, he could have waited ✋a bit, he was hurting 😢, his heart was broken, confused, unbelievable, Ouyang should have waited for his wounded heart to heal! Before sleeping with her best friend, Maybe he was pressured by the father, or just Maybe hehe 😅

Just watched this drama and found it very interesting story lines. The lead actors did well in portraying their characters, I also love the 2nd male lead and her sister Wei Wei, what a character?
I would of never taken him back he purposely got engaged with her best friend .. hurt her bad she lost her house best friend , fiance , and nearly lost her father too all that the same time
Many would pick Li Dong because he's that loyal perfect boyfriend type but for me it is only deserving that Meiya and Ou Yang end up together because they truly love each other which is the most important.Ou Yang suffered as much as Meiya and they've been through a lot of difficulties. Pushing Meiya to love Li Dong is like complicating things more and repeating history. A couple without love in between them wouldn't have a true happiness. Li Dong deserves someone who cares and love him wholeheartedly not like Meiya who love someone else. (like Rounan cause there's subtle hint she loves him)
If Ou Yang had truly loved and respected her he wouldn't have a thing with her best friend.He could've choosen any girl if he wanted to use that as an excuse to push Mei Ya down but no he choose her best friend accepting her selfish behavior.He is a jerk.And seems that Mei Ya have no self love and respect,she forgave him so easily... He had to because during that time he thought they're siblings. Blood related and at that time her foster father was in coma if he told her the truth she may not handle it. Ou Changlin also talked to him not to tell her the truth so rather telling the truth he rather let her hate her than her succumbing to the pain the truth brought. Ou Yang sufferred as much as she did. He might had done it in a hurtful way but that was the way he thought for him to justify their break up.

He wanted to protect her in his own way and further suffering yet he ended up hurting her even more. I'm not defending him but I'm just stating some facts here. As for why she forgave him well that's because Miya still loves him so much even if he did something wrong and he on the other hand loves Miya in his own way too not maybe the perfect boyfriend because definitely he's flawed in some way but at least he now learned how to cherished her even more . Anyway this is a drama and sometimes logic and reasoning won't work at all times if the writers want the story flow that way.

We have a different opinion but that doesn't meant that i don't know what to do in certain situations based on one reasoning . Respect my opinion cause i respect yours and don't ever use that as a reason to attack others who have a different opinion on yours if you don't know them personally. As for me if that happened to me I'll weigh the situation first as well as the reasoning behind his actions, I'll assess if this mistakes is forgivable or not(gravity of mistakes committed) and the things happened that lead to that situation and also his succeeding actions afterwards etc... (i won't expound further) .AS for this drama discussion, I said it in this drama the ML has his own reasons for such harsh actions even if it is rather immature but he did it for his own reasons.., it might not justify entirely his succeeding actions but he did it for obvious reasons. He wanted to protect her in his own way and further suffering yet he ended up hurting her even more. I'm not defending him but I'm just stating some facts here. As for why she forgave him well that's because Miya still loves him so much even if he did something wrong and he on the other hand loves Miya in his own way too not maybe the perfect boyfriend because definitely he's flawed in some way but at least he now learned how to cherished her even more . Anyway this is a drama and sometimes logic and reasoning won't work at all times if the writers want the story flow that way.
