Ta-ou is a good singer but the placement of his voice differs from that of the original singer, William. His is in the back of his throat while William's is in the facial front or the facade which is mostly common with most vocally trained singers or Western singers. In my humble opinion, the facial front placement gives way to a better ability to flow and float the sound.
I like his voice, but not his style, the screaming is untuneful. For me this is not the song for him, sadly ruined a beautiful song. Cut out the screaming Dao!
