- Very rusty WW2 wrench restoration. I found this old rusty wrench on a WWII battlefield. The wrench was near the German helmets. I don't know if it's a German wrench. I decided to restore this rusty wrench. I removed the rust, welded the cracks and sanded the surface. I hope you liked my restoration.

Very impressive work! I thought it was impossible, but you did it.
This was really frozen !! Very nice work I say great job getting it apart. Even after all that rust and it being frozen it still works !! 👍👍 Nice work !!
THAT was amazing! You just don’t give up! 👍😎👍
What you achieved, with what you had to start with is nothing short of outstanding 🎉
Well done my friend, from, Bayamo, Cuba
That looked impossible, amazing restoration, thankyou.
Again you have surpassed all expectations!!! You were able to make that sleeping wrench wake up and get back to work!!! Outstanding skill sets!!! Well done!!!
Maybe WW1, I’m 90 years old and that configuration was ancient when I was a kid. Crescent Wrench would be WW2.
Brilliant restoration
You gave it a whole new useful life. Very nicely done!
Thought it was unsaveable. Well done.
Beautiful restoration mister well done
So beautiful a restoration❤!
Nice work as always. Such a wonderful restoration 😊😊
Time is mouny but you loose your time for this ,,,you can buy this 👍👍👍
Great job, excellent result.
Did yiu find any makers marks on it? Thanks for restoring this part of history!
WOW..Great job
good job bro
That wrench is from a 1920 Harley Davidson tool kit.
Always love your videos- awesome work! Question if you dont mind. I found a very old, very brittle cowbell in the ground today. I think its mild steel and it is very rusty. I do not have an electrolysis machine. How do you suggest i restore it?
Amazing.
Bravo!
AMAZING! When I first saw that I said to myself 'If ReX can get the jaws to open and close I'll take my pants off'. Well, here ya go... I literally took my pants off (and put them back on, naturally.) Possibly your best resto yet. Keep up the good work. Any idea of the maker from that circular mark?
Just curious. Does the metal of the object weaken after all those years of non-usage?
Getting that disassembled was impressive. Too bad the thumb nut broke.
Spoilers! 😂
👍
Amazing job 🎉🎉 great restoration !
You gave it a better shot than I would have that’s for sure. You’ve got skills, dedication, and patience. Good work!
Now will be left to rust again. Lol
Super jest to odrestaurowane ten stary zabytkowy klucz pozdrawiam serdecznie 👍👍👍👍
love your content, question about the process: at 2:10 why do you use that tool to clean off small sections of rust before doing the electrolysis?
To have a good contact between the metal and the wire
Five minutes in the sand blaster and the job would have been done .
You clearly have a lot of time on your hands
I just wonder if he turn and looked at
Sandblast!!
I reckon that nut and thread will always be a mite loose, but that last nut had to give in 😅 Working wrench from the bench!
Restaurada chave inglesa 🪛😉
I do believe that you should consider other techniques, instead of the electrolysis, wire brushes and cold bluing combination, that you are using every time... A muriatic acid solution for rust removal, followed by abrasive blasting and finally zinc powder coating, would be way more interesting and I believe would produce a very nice result!
Well for one thing, for abrasive blasting he’d need a cabinet, air compressor and abrasive media and the space for them. Far easier to use electrolysis and wire brushes.
If this item is antique than ok .otherwise expensive and useless method cause week tool for use .
Pertect!
Some persons don’t know what restoration mean.
Does the electrolysis process cause the water to boil?
No. It causes bubbles to form at the surface of the metal. The bubbles then dislodge the rust.
👍💪👏
😂😂 at first it looks like a toast biscuit. Even that color..😅
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I wonder what this wrench was used for in war.
I restore and restore like an idiot. I can make the unusable trash of any artefact.
what a massive waste of time and energy, it looks terrible and is useless
ALL BS MY FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!! AND WHY WASTE TIME ON IT!!!!!!! IT"S CHEAPER TO BUY A NEW ONE!!!!!!!!!!!
Not really as impressed with this restoration as I had hoped. Sorry, 😢
I really had my doubts that this could be restored. You've got some mad skills my friend! 👍
I'm a moron. I was like "that will take forever to clean that thing using that little rotary tool.". Then i realized he was just cleaning a contact area for the electrolysis. Lol
Amazing Restoration 👍🏻👍🏽👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
