How about numbering the EJ videos like Dons Trix has done for the ute. And a Playlist. I'm probably late to the party but this episode of Classic Restos has a factory pink EH. ua-cam.com/video/clNMjMYQwxE/v-deo.html
Nice! It’s not to early for thinking about the wheels and tires? My bel air has camaro rallies on it! Which in my feelings are a classic style? And for some people it’s maybe over done. But I like a nice rally wheel and raised white lettering!
I want the steel to be sealed with epoxy as epoxy primer doesn't absorbe moisture so its about the best thing you can use for ensuring no future surface rust forming
I think you have to remember in the 70s panel beaters used oxy acetaline all the time as they had no access to mig or tig welders and the plentiful use of bog was used to hide some pretty horrific mistakes. Ive got a 74 LH Torana that’s had the RHR 1/4 panel replaced and it looks like it was fitted in the 70s all the joins were oxy welded with bronze and the bog that was in it especially in the back panel was so thick, it looks like they never repaired it just filled the dent with bog. It was that bad I’ve had the back panel and tail lite recesses replaced, and it’s starting to look really nice now, anyway the EJ looks cool my brother had an EJ panel van when he was a young fella so I like them good luck with it it’ll turn out beautiful I’m sure
@@xacoupeguy And some of those 70s panel beaters should have been sculptors instead, because they knew how to trowel it on and make something out of nothing
Hi Graham just started watching your EJ resto. In one of the episodes you mentioned that you had some spare rear driver side door trims (red) that you offered for sale. Can you let me know if this is the case and what they are worth? Love your work, EJ Russell
My restoration isn't immaculate, just want to get it running and roadworthy for now. I only need a driver side rear door trim panel. If this is the same as the ones you have for sale could you please give me a price for the better of the two? Much appreciated, EJ Russell
@@russellmatchett5214 flick me a message thru my Graham's restorations Facebook page and we can suss out the details and I've just looked I do have 2 driver's side rear trims
that bracket must of been a add on later in the run thats the first body i've seen with it looking good so far graham we still have a rhf nos door skin and right nos sill panel here we did buy after market door skins but they were such a poor fit especially the rear skins we found 4 nos skins so we took the after market skins back off still have them there still usable but probably for you you could rework them to fit
Your good lady wife is one very lucky girl. Nice car.

Ive got an original set of rims off being blasted
Looks good mate, so what is the reason you don't paint over the etch primer?
I want the steel to be sealed with epoxy as epoxy primer doesn't absorbe moisture so its about the best thing you can use for ensuring no future surface rust forming
Thought about doing an acid dip on the body to strip the paint and rust off? If it's available in Adelaide.
it is doable but their is a massive waiting list and i dont want the to strip the driveline from it

Ive got 2 rear door trims in red but they're both the same side and they're not 100% perfect but fairly good
