Words alone can't describe how much I love The X-Files and how thankful I am to everybody who made this show and movies possible. It is truly the greatest show ever made. And the Mulder-Scully chemistry is just something else. I always say that they're the best (unofficially) married couple.
If you are on Facebook join The X-Files group. We are always engaging in trivias, posting our favorite moments and whatnot. I'm always sharing videos I download that are the best or funny or memorable.
The X-Files surpassed being just a TV show & became a MOOD. I still get the same feels I got 25yrs ago from some of the same episodes, no matter how many times I've seen them. Very much in the vein of The Twilight Zone; Classics never die. Proud to be a Day One X-Phile! 🙌🏾🛸👽
THAT'S IT. REWATCHING ENTIRE SERIES. I grew up addicted to X, did a full rewatch a few times over the years. Now it's time to go to again. Once more unto the beach!
It was nice to hear Gillian Anderson say she how much she appreciates how much "X-Files" meant to some people. When my daughter was growing up, no matter how mad she was at me, we always had the Mulder and Scully to talk about. Thanks
On my bucket list is binge watching the entire 200+ episode. I'm holding off because I think I'll die after I see the last show. Nothing will ever top the X-Files. Thank you Christ Carter and all the grew for making it the best of the best. And a special shout out to the person who did the music and theme. Nothing brings a smile to my face faster that that sound.
Around 5 or so years ago I had a crazy ass X-Files marathon, I just smoked weed, slept a few hours and watched X-Files for about a week straight, I got thru 6 seasons (I skipped some episodes I remembered way too well) and I do not recommend it, all the conspiracies were starting to feel a bit too real after that. Still a great show and one of my all time favorites.
I remember I went to the cinema to see Fight the Future and when the bee stung the whole cinema screamed out 'no!' and everyone turned to each other, even to strangers, laughing with frustration, and as cheesy as it sounds, it felt like you were all part of something. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced that as a cinema audience member since.
Experienced a similar thing being in the audience in a cinema here in Scotland when in Braveheart they kill William Wallace. The whole audience shouted bastards. I was 13 (my gran took me and no one asked my age 😂) and everyone was so ramped up leaving that cinema it was amazing lol.
I was 10 or 11 the first time I saw this show. I probably shouldn't have been watching it, but I did and I loved it. Way back in the early 90s when digital TV wasn't a thing yet, we couldn't get Fox to tune in at our house but a friend of mine could. His mom was taping the episodes and we would borrow the tapes to make our own copies. That's how we watched The X Files until we got a satellite and that's probably why I'm such a big proponent of file-sharing as a means of cultural preservation.
Hi... I m from India that's the nostalgic for me same as you That's the era of VHS Language barrier for me Little bit of knowing English language When I was record all episodes of X Files to understand every episode Reverse every time to understand What says both agents of FBI
Thanks to all of you who were involved in making one of the most wonderful series of the all-too "Wonderful 1990s". At my current age of 79, I fondly look back on the increasingly eye-opening awareness regarding the, now, all-too...IMNSHO..."TRUTHS" RE the actual...LONGTIME in Earth's History...existence of Extraterestrial Alien lifeforms. I also fondly remember the often hilarious appearances of David Duchovny on the, also wonderful, Larry Sanders Show, with the late, great, Garry Shandling. I could go on & on; but, alas...Thanks again, with Love...ALWAYS!
For me, Vancouver is the best location for this show. And the first season, the best of all. This proves that budget is not necessarily an important factor to do an excellent show.
I ran into them as kid in Vancouver Canada, they filmed so much where my dad worked at the science center at UBC and other parts of Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦!
Over the course of the last few months I watched all of The X-Files seasons. I literally just finished, and then I stumbled upon this documentary. Thank you for making this and providing a wonderful ending to it all... I want to believe. The truth is out there. Trust no one.
Scully: "this is the last time you pick the fictious names when we go undercover" Moulder: "why?' Scully: "Rob and Laura Petri.. really...?" The dry humor was always unexpected, by great too.
I knew about X-Files since I was a young child, but it always scared me. I watched one episode in late 2019, and I've been hooked ever since. It's now October 2020, and I've seen every single episode and movie. It is now, by far, my favorite series ever made. Really opened my eyes to so many things. I love X-Files, and everyone who worked on it did such a great thing. -"APOLOGY IS POLICY"- "THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE"
One of my favorite stories ever, is the colonization storyline. Such an incredible ride. Here’s hoping for a myth 3 movie to wrap it all in my lifetime.
Brilliant choices of excerpts and extracts. X-Files was and remains so ahead of the game: wonderful appreciation of wonderful series with such memorable, remarkable screen chemistry of all, especially Gillian and David
And we thought the 90s were a cluster decade when we lived it. The 2010s make the 90s look like the 50s. It really does feel like a different millennium now from the time the X Files was on tv.
MR Jack And at the same time Hollywood became an even worse cesspool, the media has become corrupt, politics has stagnated and western culture is more divided than ever. Mass media and entertainment have played their part in is all of this. Most shows now simply rip off others. The 1990's was the last decade where originality and pushing the edge existed.
I don't care what y'all think, I think this show deserves a Season 12, and well deserved writing. And Gillian get her pay as same as David too. Let's petition for Netflix to pick this up!!!!
My childhood and young adulthood. Nobody my age(28) fucks with x files but I feel like it changed the world of tv. Underrated to the max. Season 1 is rewatchable a thousand times over man. Light up
This show is my top show of all time, and always will be. I have an I Want to Believe tattoo that I love. It is just those words in the X-files font and it means a lot to me.
Please bring this beloving series with brand new characters... Or hope there would a prequel or spin off tv show ... One of the best shows of all time... And my favorite
all the characters were relatable.i even started having sympathy for smoker man .I understood his struggle of walking in the middle and knowing everything and working both sides just wanting to win.. its become my show , not the worlds but its my personal show I have true love for .when the TV came on its just Mulder Scully and me ....sounds crazy but its how we relate to these shows it becomes a personal investment in our lives
Such a standout show, a credit to everyone involved. It could be atmospheric, moody and reflective or whimsical or downright terrifying or all of the above. It was lightning in a bottle. Writing, Direction and Acting all just working together seamlessly. Even if the dialogue was kind of B- Movie, the direction and acting made up for it, or an effect or shot looked kinda silly the writing and playing the scene kept that suspense of disbelief. It also knew complex characters and motivations pushing the envelope without trying as it were unlike today say. Scully was accomplished already and never felt like she had to justify herself to " the man" like a reboot today would be tempted to try. No she was respected by Mulder and others for her abilities. Mulder wasn't a hulking dumb beefcake mansplaining. He was an accomplished profiler, who is on even ground ( if not in height...) with Scully and had his own flaws. Belief that can be too narrow, fear of fire. Endearing juvinile emotional streak, contrasts Scully's logical scientific mind. It's still probably the best TV shows of the last 40 years. I liked the "Wolfman" One and done episodes myself to the "Mythology episodes" - like the Toombs episode, or the Clones of Bebe from Frasier. Host, Ice . Those ones. I like the alien stuff, but there was something especially endearing to me about the one offs.
It's so funny to see the love for this show. I got eye rolled so hard when I told people I loved the xfiles in high school. I pretty much had to keep it secret. The Gethsemane/Redux episodes are still my favorites:):)
This is one of the best piece of american culture that is contributed to this world... Even here in philippines this show is quite popular. I am fan since I was 5 now 33..
INHERITLY THE BEST SERIES EVER. Not only of my Generation but for generations to come. Absolutely nothing comes close! The next series that I watched after this was LOST. It is 28 years later & I still can't name one project that can come close to the story telling & cast of X-files. I was lucky enough to be @ the auction for the End Game & have so much memorabilia. I still can't believe I only paid $50 for a pack of used Morley's probably my favorite item because CSM is the best protagonist in history of T.V.
38 ,000 veiws 19 comments ? Thats a X file .Anyway huge thumbs up .Funny i never watched this show at all till i saw the one with the inbred hillbillys and i was hooked ,i think it had a new episode every Friday night and just happened to watch it at a friends house, i literally was telling people at the party to STFU so i could hear it .DD & GA have great chemistry
I wish I was part of Something like this too. In my life. To have created something of this scale, this magical, what are our lives actually, if we aren't doing something like this.
From what I understand the biggest contention was that GA's hair was prone to be frizzy in the Vancouver weather and they repeatedly had to stop the scenes to flatten it out again which made DD have to wait and it caused him to be upset at her, though obviously not her fault.
Oh my gosh. When did this air?? I always liked this X-Files documentary episodes. I’ve only seen Secrets to the X-Files (May 1995) More to the X-Files (May 1996) Behind the X-Files (February 1998)
I am too a fan of X-files since childhood 1990s i used to watch since. So now i again looked closely and seems it likes filmed episodes of 1550s a.d. of that world vintage cars, dressing, make up etc. So we should celebrate agent scully and agent moulder's 500th birthday!!!!
At 2min30, the font is perfectly respected. Why didn't they use this font for the new blu-ray version? It's really incomprehensible because this font is really part of the show. I hope that one day a new version will be released with the original font. Apart from that, thank you for this excellent video.
Exactly - disappointing to see HD and Blu ray using new fonts - not authentic and ruins the viewing especially for those who have been watching the series in broadcast… At least I have some of the episodes on DVD that have the original fonts…
I remember when the KISS didn't happen.. and I was just.................... "are you kidding me"......... I through something at the tv and walked the dog.

Scully has always been an inspiration to me. She's confident & headstrong, motivated me to fight all the odds, move on and never to stop🙂🙂🙂
It was nice to hear Gillian Anderson say she how much she appreciates how much "X-Files" meant to some people. When my daughter was growing up, no matter how mad she was at me, we always had the Mulder and Scully to talk about. Thanks

I think I've done the entire series at least 4 or 5 times lol
I remember I went to the cinema to see Fight the Future and when the bee stung the whole cinema screamed out 'no!' and everyone turned to each other, even to strangers, laughing with frustration, and as cheesy as it sounds, it felt like you were all part of something. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced that as a cinema audience member since.
Same exact thing happened when we saw it! 😂 I’ll never forget that moment
It's a good movie :)
I have never loved a fictional work of art like I love the Xfiles, it's just part of me
Fictional....right....
I was 10 or 11 the first time I saw this show. I probably shouldn't have been watching it, but I did and I loved it. Way back in the early 90s when digital TV wasn't a thing yet, we couldn't get Fox to tune in at our house but a friend of mine could. Hi...
I m from India
that's the nostalgic for me
same as you
That's the era of VHS
Language barrier for me

When I was record all episodes of X Files

IMHO, best show ever. I have met Chris Carter and thanked him for the show. I also met David and Gillian.
BEST. SHOW. EVER. 😊

THIS and Twin Peaks were the most groundbreaking shows of the nineties.
And the sopranos!!
90s tv shows really were a cut above, so many classics.
For me, Vancouver is the best location for this show. And the first season, the best of all. This proves that budget is not necessarily an important factor to do an excellent show.
I ran into them as kid in Vancouver Canada, they filmed so much where my dad worked at the science center at UBC and other parts of Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦!
i think i need to see it all again from the very beginning))
Me too!! Where can we???
YOURhimera I was just thinking that today after listening to some of the soundtrack composed by Mark Snow.
I’m now rewatching it all again. The best show ever.
Over the course of the last few months I watched all of The X-Files seasons. I literally just finished, and then I stumbled upon this documentary. Thank you for making this and providing a wonderful ending to it all... I want to believe. The truth is out there. Trust no one.
It says a lot that all of these years later.... we are still here watching a show about the show because we all love the show...
Scully: "this is the last time you pick the fictious names when we go undercover"
Moulder: "why?'
Scully: "Rob and Laura Petri.. really...?"
The dry humor was always unexpected, by great too.
Loved the show as a kid and still do. Getting close to rewatch time, yeah Gillian Anderson is real easy on the eyes
x files have made the history of the most beloved television serial
This show was my childhood with my cousin and little brother on Friday nights. Miss those days.
Kim Manners 😭❤️
I watched this show religiously growing up. I missed the first few seasons. Around grade 5 or 6 I started watching it and was hooked:)
David, Gillian and Chris Carter really are so cool. I have met them and they are all so devoted to the show and the fans.
In the early 00s i bought all the dvd sets , a season each week and watched ep after ep... was awesome memories
What an awesome show!!! Love the commentary and the Gilly Board 👏🏼🙏🏼
I love watching this show with my parents when I was a kid.
My daughter the same into big fan,and now we will work on my granddaughter. God bless, happy Friday. 🙏🇨🇦

-"APOLOGY IS POLICY"- "THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE"
one of the best shows EVER made , i was 13 when it first aired, in 1993, the cell phones oh man lol im 40 now, and still love it
Phenomenal show
One of, if not the best tv show of all time!
X files till I DIE.
I welled up at the end. God, I *love* this show.
One of my favorite stories ever, is the colonization storyline. Such an incredible ride. Here’s hoping for a myth 3 movie to wrap it all in my lifetime.
Yeah; obviously the best-case scenario would be a big-screen movie but I'd take a movie released on Disney+ ... X-Files is now the property of Disney.
Brilliant choices of excerpts and extracts. X-Files was and remains so ahead of the game: wonderful appreciation of wonderful series with such memorable, remarkable screen chemistry of all, especially Gillian and David
I seriously just got done watching it all the way through
And we thought the 90s were a cluster decade when we lived it. The 2010s make the 90s look like the 50s. It really does feel like a different millennium now from the time the X Files was on tv.
I graduated high school in June 1991 -- and it
definitely felt like the 1950's to me LOL
MR Jack And at the same time Hollywood became an even worse cesspool, the media has become corrupt, politics has stagnated and western culture is more divided than ever.
Mass media and entertainment have played their part in is all of this. Most shows now simply rip off others. The 1990's was the last decade where originality and pushing the edge existed.
This show will always be in my top five shows that I love! Tied with Firefly.
my fav show still
I don't care what y'all think, I think this show deserves a Season 12, and well deserved writing. And Gillian get her pay as same as David too. Let's petition for Netflix to pick this up!!!!
The phrase “broke the mold” applies heavily
Amazing video, beautiful memories 🧡
My childhood and young adulthood. Nobody my age(28) fucks with x files but I feel like it changed the world of tv. Underrated to the max. Season 1 is rewatchable a thousand times over man. Light up

OMG, thank you sooo much !!!
I love x files!!Skully and Muller...never.tired.of them.😊
X-Files is the greatest show of all time.
We need another season of the X Files. You can't leave Mulder dying in a traffic jam.
I remember the opening intro use to creep me out as a young child.
Loved this documentary! Subscribed and it's time to check out more X-Files
Please bring this beloving series with brand new characters... Or hope there would a prequel or spin off tv show ... One of the best shows of all time... And my favorite
Great memories ... thank you 😊
I still waitng for more season
I am watching it all again from season 1 lol after I just finished season 11 going to watch all from season 1 to 9 😎
The best doc tv 1990 to face...
Think about David ... A guy who was part of not just one but two shows being regarded cultural phenomena now. X Files and Twin Peaks... brains fried.
Great stories, acting, direction, moments etc....
all the characters were relatable.i even started having sympathy for smoker man .I understood his struggle of walking in the middle and knowing everything and working both sides just wanting to win.. its become my show , not the worlds but its my personal show I have true love for .when the TV came on its just Mulder Scully and me ....sounds crazy but its how we relate to these shows it becomes a personal investment in our lives
Nothing but originality and then some!
Landmark shows are few and far between - Twin Peaks and The X Files are on top of the ladder
Such a standout show, a credit to everyone involved. It could be atmospheric, moody and reflective or whimsical or downright terrifying or all of the above. It was lightning in a bottle. is it worth all 11s and plz tell if it is episodic or it revolve around the same story
I was lucky enough to be @ the auction
for the End Game & have so much memorabilia.
I still can't believe I only paid $50 for a pack of used Morley's probably my favorite item because CSM is the best protagonist in history of T.V.
Dana started out cute, but the more mature she got the more beautiful she became.
It's not just watching the show again and again....
It's being an X - Phile
I will forever be in love with Dana Scully
X files seems the boss of shows similar to shows like LOST .... You are about the reach the final truth but miss it always.

Despite how some people feel about seasons 10&11 I enjoyed them even just knowing that the cast put so much into it.
Joey Ramone said, hold on. Before you use my band.
Oh my gosh.
When did this air??
I always liked this X-Files documentary episodes.
I’ve only seen
Secrets to the X-Files (May 1995)

I ❤ X FILES. 😍😍😍
Best TV show ever.

I remember when the KISS didn't happen.. and I was just.................... "are you kidding me"......... I through something at the tv and walked the dog.
Wow I didn't realize Gillian was that small 😍
DAAAMN! X is a real G!
Steven Williams was also on supernatural & Skinner too!
Epic , just epic 👽🛸
Yay thanks for this
34:07
Isn’t she the character from the Season 2 episode called 3?
The song played at 29:00 sounds like “Cloud City” from the Halo 4’s soundtrack. Just sayin’...
“The truth is out there”
They also filmed supernatural over in Vancouver too!
10:18
That’s from The Jersey Devil right??
Where Scully doesn’t allow Mulder to finish his meal.
Xfiles 4Life 💯💯💯💯🛸🛸🛸👽👽👽
RIP Kim manners 💯🛸👽❤️❤️❤️
didn’t jump on board until the second season with the episode of the nursing home and the mysterious deaths… Never missed a show after that where did the last 30 years go?
