Agree. We need another David, Russel Lamberti/Piet LeRoux long form discussion to really thrashout decentralisation and the benefits for the poor. Titanic is going down. No more pussyfooting around non PC subjects. Moon pact plan A. What’s plan B?
Don’t confuse the ANC Sodom and Gomorra that rule, with a beautiful country, with so much potential for all. This obsessive addiction to ridiculous DEI quotas is destructive to community building, and must be removed
Things in South Africa are going to get much, much worse before they get....even worse than that. Get out while you can, if you cannot, I feel very sorry for you....BBBEE afraid...BBBEE very, very afraid....
Sure, if you depend on the state. If you don’t, happy days are here again. It’s simply a mindset. I prefer a dying state as opposed to a functioning police state like most first world nations.
Agree with Rupert. As the state retreats into a confused self inflected malaise the private sector will pick up the slack. Water and rail must be fixed next. Businesses cannot function otherwise
Some of what this guy says is a load of rubbish. 1. Leave your estate to private colleges? What an idiotic idea. Yeah let’s boost someone’s profits why don’t we. Maybe city varsity? Who just lost their license?
Point is: do everything you can to stop the ANC from getting a cent. Tribalistic bullshit is holding everyone back, first it was Dutch-descendants thru apartheid, and now it’s ANC and co. Point is: your average AFRICAN loses in both scenarios.
The very idea of Socialism pushed by Melema is a very dangerous ideology for South Africa but when we speak out against this framework we are labelled as racists yes there are more Africans than any other race and they were oppressed for many years and there is still a massive inequality but look at what the ANC who have been in power for 30 years have done instead of good governance and caring for the masses of their people and improving their lives they still live in Dire Poverty and their policies incompetence miss management and massive corruption has put South Africa in a dire Crisis they have become very Rich and totally forgotten about the Poor we are a Democracy we run off a free market economy to try and change the Status Quo so to speak would lead South Africa into A Bliss South Africa would shut down completely it would be a disaster
Socialism is a faith-based religion without any credible evidence. It’s designed to offer hope to the incapable, the envious and the slothful. It is definitely not an economic system. It’s like trying to structure an economy based on fantasy fiction such as Tolkien’s novels. It’s worse in SA as the ANC has a different approach to socialism that puts their ideology squarely in the identical twin of socialism, National Socialism. That labour movement didn’t end well either in the 1940’s. One hopes the ANC will not similarly end in a bunker somewhere?
@@christinefinniss6263 actually I do, having lived through this hollow ideology. Unfortunately those under the spell of it’s fantasy fiction don’t really understand and sadly many will never give up on imposing their faith based religion on everyone else. A centralized economy is mathematically complex and hence unsolvable, it crashes and burns the poor every time. Most attempts inevitably end with socialism’s identical twin, National Socialism. Karl Marx, by all measures a useless failure, got something right, faith based religion is the opium of the people, hence he contributed to the formation of a socialist religion around common people.
Land is not your personal asset, the land belongs to the state, a state that represents every South African and every South African must have access to that land!
Yes you can have Cyril's farm Phala Phala, without the dollars in the couch though, he will gladly give it to you, as you say land belongs to the people and you are one of the people ,not so?
ANC/EFF education clearly, only reason why someone can say something as stupid as land is not your asset. No future for SA economy with mentality like this.
Child like reasoning. Land is privately owned and worked as a business in a free manner in order to produce a positive return. Farm land for instance cannot give access to simply everyone if it is to produce. No country has ever been successful by adopting socialism...which is what u proposing...whilst in truth u likely think u should be able to steal other peoples productive assets. Perhaps u would be more happy enjoying the hunger in zimbabwe.
I’ve seen this poorly reasoned, faith-based ideology play out in so many countries that I work in . Nobody has a direct interest in the long term management or stewardship of land and so either the agricultural schemes fall apart as soon as their funding runs out or communal land is abused, grazed to oblivion or exploited with extractive practices and abandoned when the soil is depleted of nutrients, salted or washed away. There are so many victims of these policies living hard and short lives. Unfortunately socialism is an enticing fiction that never ceases to trap those needing to know what to think instead of how to think!
Thanks for the presentation David Ansara
Brilliant strategist as always...

Talking about property rights. Income tax is a legalised expropriation of property. In SA, it's also without compensation.
Brilliant!!!
Thank you David. 🤙
I agree with state proofing. Especially if you are not a tenderprenuer
Agreed , free the Cape before its to late !
Free the Cape from what?

That's why the DA must stop their foolish attitude. They must allow a referendum on Cape independence!!!!

Good to see David mention Bitcoin, he should hang out with Stafford more !
Pity these common sense observations don’t become common sense policies

The way some of these guys are speaking, it is clear that they dont love South Africa.
You can love your country but hate your government. Most these speakers are anti ANC not anti RSA.
what's not to love?

Would they be here if they didn't?, they are trying to save this country from a corrupt government.
Can anyone lend a hand with a job? Struggling to find work and could use some assistance. Any leads or opportunities would be greatly appreciated.
There are already many large Solar farms in SA, foreign invested, foreign managed, coining it from south Africans. Do some research.

Where ever socialism failed the U.S. ensured draconian Sanctions were imposed. Socialism thrives in Scandinavian countries where taxation is above 60%
Scandinavia is welfare states not socialist...ie gov does not control the means of production.
