    Well we listened to Warren and Julie - we went to Nemanja and now have our 3 year visas! No regrets. Love the Serbs.

    This is very useful information for anyone planning to move to Serbia! I’ve been reading the tax law here and would confirm that it is pretty straightforward and simple, but as Nemanja said everyone should check it for themselves as there are of course exceptions. For example if you are an entrepreneur it depends where your headquarters are and if you have a Serbian address where you lead your company from. For us EU citizens it’s easy, I’m happy to hear that in the future it will be better for the US citizens too hence the double taxation preventing agreement.

    I’m saving up right now to relocate to Serbia (not retirement age yet). I just want a better life than what is affordable in the US. I would not have thought to consider Serbia until I saw you talking about it. Thank you for all the helpful videos!

      I can really recommend Serbia for the quality of life. We came here for one month only and stayed for years as we loved living in Serbia so much. It’s very easy to settle down here as people are so lovely and it’s so easy to make friends with locals.

    Great interview, jam packed with useful information and insights. Thank you. If I settle in Serbia, I stay in contact with Nemanja, consult him because he understands the system very well and he comes across willing and helpful 👍

      @@WarrenJulieTravel Message to Nemanja: Appreciate you and all the value you bring us. What termed "entrepreneur" in Serbia, is more commonly called 'self-employed' outside Serbia. I think your clients more readily relate to that

    Hey guys, how can I get a hold of this agent to get more information? And also do you guys have any real estate agents in the area?

    Hey Warren and Juliy for citizenship in Serbia when you go for it, do you need to know how to speak the language like some other countries require you to do?Z
    Also is language well spoken in Serbia

    • @alekseit6285
      @alekseit6285 2 місяці тому

      There are no language exams when applying for Serbian citizenship. Most people in Serbia speak fluent English.

      @@alekseit6285Well, I wouldn't say most people, but a majority of young people (under 50 🙂) speak good or at least decent English. Fluency is a totally different level.

      @@WarrenJulieTravel I was speaking from my perspective and in my perspective, there are no pros for Serbia. Once they join the Schengen area, maybe. But until then, no thank you.
