I just went bald a couple of months ago and I must say, I am loving it! Once I went out, for the first time, in public and got the awkward stares out of the way, there was no turning back. I bought a bunch of big hoop earrings and stepped my bold eye color game up and we are good over here!! 😉

Hi, because of some health issues, I just had a long talk with my husband (the best man, friend, supporter, I have ever known) and have decided to go bald. I decided to do it because I actually had to cut off a thin loc yesterday and I wanted to remove the rest of them on my own terms. Finding your chanel today is one of the best things that has happened since making the decision. Thank you so much for making this video. I too had to shave my head totally 20 years ago. The best thing I ever did. She may be younger she may be thinner, but when I walk into a room I'm bald! Lol! I have a fabulous makeup collection and a fabulous jewelry and accessory collection. So altogether I have my own style. You will too. I know you're going to rock it!

Thanks soo much for sharing your boldness. I’m currently contemplating going bald. I had a terrible incident a few years ago when I had locs got stuck on something and they were ripped out my head along with the scalp. Yess I was horrified not to mention in pain. Needless to say I have been having a serious challenge trying to grow my hair back. I’ve done braids to try and cover it but it was difficult to make braids lay down. I then went from product to product which still didn’t help. I’m done with products and God has put on my heart to go bald. I’m so nervous, scared, excited, anxious and a host of other emotions. Your video has inspired me to gain the courage to go for it and trust God. I’m not a markup artist soo that will be new for me but I’m encouraged and we always have our girlfriends that what I call wigs 🤣🤣🤣 Please please keep me in prayer for the new journey. On May 17, 2023, I was diagnosed with throat cancer (I never smoked). After three unsuccessful surgeries, I'm currently in Radiation Therapy everyday for six weeks. Now, week 4 of 6, I'm scheduled to have my head shaved in 2 days. I am researching makeup and looking for edgy, sassy, sexy and classy outfits to mix into my conservative wears. My plan is to wear my bald head with style and grace (in my Biggie Smalls voice). I can't wait!

I just went bald in May 2020. I was afraid of the stares/looks, but the way this Southern heat is set up, I don't even care what folks think. My husband supported the decision and we are good 😉

I know you said there’s nothing brave about you having short hair in another video. But this is definitely a brave step in my humble opinion. I’ve cut my hair short like yours was before you cut it all off but I don’t think I have the courage to go bald. Beautiful makeup though!

thank you! I tried to make it stay with powder and setting spray but if it was too hot like if I was outside and sweating, it would look how makeup looks when you sweat when you have it on so honestly after a while I started to not put it all over my whole head anymore
