all the blues are so amazing and bright I think I am attracted to the blue's in jewelry . I always disliked my birthstone but since I have been collecting jewelry I love garnet . have seen many great settings . You are so funny . You are my medicine if I want to laugh and smile it makes my day !!!!

I am 73 and never saw anything like the owl . So glad you took it apart because it was nothing like I thought it would go apart . amazing . My mom had furs and she used fur clips but at the time I was more interested in the furs. amazing . Thank you for always teaching us . I have a lot to learn.

I loved that beginning bubble gum pink rhinestone spaceship pin. I've never seen one like that in all my years. I also adored the sterling silver hand pins. I've only seen one of those before and that it was in Belgium.

Omg Jason! What fabulous pieces. Absolutely stunning! Brooches and pins are my favorite jewelry items to collect. I have hundreds of pieces. I recently acquired a Kramer, made in Austria, with sculpted glass leaves and prong-set rhinestones and a Nolan Miller clear rhinestone very elaborate bow. You know the thrill of hunting for these beautiful mini works of art. I just love looking through my collection, and yours! Thank you for describing each piece so thoroughly. Hi Jason, Happy Sunday. I enjoyed seeing your early collection of vintage finds and your sharing with us how they became a part of your many collections. I appreciate that you have always bought what you love and the craftsmanship of just about anything from the artistic view beyond the functionality of a piece of art. I have always bought whatever I liked just because I felt something draw me to that one item in a booth or shop and not for the brand or whatever it may be worth later. Be unique, be different, and love what makes us happy. Those are some fine examples of what you could find in the day when others did not see the beauty or thought something was old or worn and not in style. Not me. I love those pieces more because of their history and unique designs. In high school in the early seventies, I wore jewelry from the fifties and earlier from my mom and grandmother. I
was finding my vintage style. I truly get it! Now, I am not hunting for more to add to my life, and I miss that feeling when I find something I love. Could I buy everything I loved? No, but I could enjoy seeing something and taking it into my mind for its beauty. Thank you for sharing your treasures, memories, and experiences with us, who enjoy seeing these precious pieces of jewelry history. You are so much fun to watch. I hope you had a great day with your parents. I know you learned a lot about life through them teaching you and having them take you around to find some of these great finds during your young life. 🙋♂️ I collect ephemera... it was originally what got me into antiques. I liked browsing this one antique shop, never really buying much just little trinkets occasionally. Then the shopkeeper showed an 11 year old me a box of old postcards/ephemera and I was hooked! I found a postcard in that little collection it was an image of the moon and it had a love note on the back asking her to meet and kiss him under the moonlight next friday night. It's still my favourite card 16 or so years later. I better get my collection out of storage!
