The reason the Queen of Fables was imprisoned in a tax book is because it’s one of the least imaginable books out there. She can’t use it to her advantage.
Chris cut himself off, but if the word he was going to say was "thespian," that's canonical for the original Clayface (Basil Karlo), going back to the 40s.
Clayface voiced by Alan Tudyk is just perfect...I love the fact he can't stop himself to create characters for his schemes ! The perfect balance of classy and kinda dumb, a great way to depict him and it's hilarious !
Was there any point where he meets with Wonder Woman in the comics? That would have been amusing. Or Ares? I can see Ares and Eris giving him powers like a discount Shazam just to mess with him.
@@beomcheolkim8543 he was in the Wonder Woman/Batman crossover event “Gods of Gotham”, wherein the children of Ares possessed several Gotham rogues and attempted to turn the city into a “new Areopagus”. Maxie Zeus played a minor role as the leader of their burgeoning cult. A lot of odd details in the show are subtle references to the characters comic history. Like Dr. Psycho and Giganta, they aren't a couple in the comics but are both part of Wonder Woman's rogues gallery and have been involved in numerous team-ups either as a duo or a whole group alongside Cheetah, Circe and the other Wondie villains.
DR Psycho, Faust, Queen of Fable and Maxi Zeus...man do they find the very obscure and weird vilains for this show ! It's hilarious !! We need Condiment man !!!
So 'cannon' with dc is weird, technically everything that happens, happens, just depends on which universe. This would be considered an 'elseworld' universe, some random universe in dc, thats unlikely to ever connect with or effect any others, young justice is a random universe, batman the animated series is a random universe, the arkham games are a random universe. The 'cannon' part is mainly the main comic lines. Basically everything you see here, assume in most other versions its not eeally the same
The whole "multiverse" thing is basically just a convenient way of avoiding continuity issues, and allows different writers to have their own unique takes on the characters without impacting any "official" canon. As long as a show or comic is consistent with it's own continuity, the writers are basically free to do whatever they want. If you think about how upset Dr. Who fans or Star Wars fans can get when the writers mess with the canon, it kind of makes sense that DC wants to avoid that nonsense entirely, and just say each adaptation is it's own thing, unless explicitly promoted as a continuation of another.
What I love about the whole Queen of Fables thing is this show really leans into showing ALL the craziness of comicbooks. A lot of the movies try to simplify things, but eff that!
#SundayRundown Clayfaces original origin is that he was an actor in his human life , In some shows he is created by the Joker and all characters are canonon to DC comics the person Harley was fighting on the train was KGB Beast
The funniest joke in this episode is that Dr Psycho could easily distract Maxie with his psychic powers while Clayface slipped through the vents but she is from a town where a man in a bat costume pulverizes serial killer clowns so of course she did it the hard way
I’ve got the Justice league comic where they trap Queen of fables in the tax code. It was definitely Batman’s decision to do that. It was an interesting story though. They had to play the parts of different story book characters to rescue wonder woman who was stuck in the role of sleeping beauty.
It seems to be less of a taboo word now than it used to be. In the US, when I was growing up it was a forbidden word but now I hear people from the US regularly say it.
@@claudegrenier3180 I mean these words are used as terms of endearment for some. So I don't personally find it a big deal. Even when used as insults it depends on the place for how hard its taken. I dont see it as a bad thing to talk about necessarily.

I CAN NOT WAIT TILL THEY GET TO ANY OF THE STORY ARCS WITH CLIFFHANGERS. I am curious if they will be as into as myself or just having fun and only watching mainly for the jokes.
the story about the racism in VR fucking killeddd me bro wtf I had no idea that was a thing lmfao. It doesnt matter what realm of existence were in, mfs are gonna be racist 😂😂😂
During when Ryan gosling said he have no interest in joining mcu ppl brought up he should join dcu, especially with his actor dynamic with Margot Robbie with Barbie and another movie. Ryan ppl say should be clayface if they do another Harley Quinn focus movie with comedy.
Fun fact, the Luthor we know in the comics, was literally created based on Donald Trump, so much so that they actually use his actual quotes for many of his lines in this show and in Young Justice, and that makes so many people mad xD
KGBeast, not a big villain but he had some memorable moments, not all good. Batman left him trapped in a room to die once, another time he shot Nightwing in the head, he recovered but suffered memory loss, quit heroing, went by Ric Grayson at the time, it was awful. Maxie Zeus is a real thing as well, he literally thinks he's Zeus, so's the Queen of Fables they literally put her in a Tax Code book because there was nothing inventive she could use. Clayface is hilarious though, committed to the bit a little too much
Yeah the blatant racism is why I stayed out of the VR stuff. People feel extremely bold when their faces aren't shown a d I don't have the patience to deal with it.
The most anticipated spinoff of The Walking Dead franchise The Ones Who Live came out February 25 with Rick and Michonne and it’s breaking records in viewership both on AMC and AMC+. I hope you guys give it a shot
“KGBeast? Don’t you remember him from BvS?” As someone that’s seen that film a few times unfortunately, literally NO. No one remembers KGBeast from BvS. Talk about forgettable (and an awful film.)

Well, except for the fact that "money" and "laws" hence "taxes" are imaginary but sure.
