I am a homeless liaison in the city of Detroit. It is wonderful what you are doing but please also teach how to sustain and maintain those homes. Sustaining and maintaining are two of the many things that will put them right back on the streets. Please do follow up aftercare with them to make our homeless successful. People don't trust homeless people to give a job. You need a job to get a home, you need a bank account and address to maintain an address. It takes hard work, trust and a consistent helping hand.

Man this one touches home. My dad passed away 10 years ago, on June 7th. I went through a bout of living with some room mates and got disconnected from my family and into drugs. After years and some legal trouble, I found my way home and have been doing well for me and my family ever since. The grieving process is difficult and different for everyone. Unfortunately, for some of us we find comfort in the drugs and "friends" we don't see how far we've fell. Please continue to do the work you do, and don't listen to people who say you do it for the views. Just because you reep some benefit, look at the things you do with some of the proceeds. I commend you for being awesome!
