If you just recently discovered XG trust me and all the other millions of us (ALPHAZ) you have scratched about 1% of the surface with this insanely talented and charismatic but yet so humble group. XG was just featured on the cover of U.S. Billboard Magazine in October and it sold out in one hour. XG will also be on the cover of VOGUE Japan next month. And they were on the cover of Forbes Japan a couple months ago. No one is doing it like XG. Period. They are in their own lane on another level 🔥🐺🔥
@@jess_holyfield They also have another series of dance choreography videos call XG Move where they dance to other artists’ songs. By “they” I meant both as a group and as individuals meaning that all XG members have their own dance choreography videos showing their own individual styles such as Hinata’s tutting. 😃
Their fandom name is Alphaz, referring to a pack of wolves, and then Hesenoo means umbilical cord. So Hesenoo being the first intro track on their mini-album, it's like their birth in a sense, and wolves are born blind, hence the blindfolds. At least that's what I got out of it. But thank you for reacting to XG! They're practically a dance crew that also performs their own songs.
Also should add that Sienna Lalau from The Lab does a lot of their choreography, to the point she could be considered their main choreographer. I don't think we got credits for this routine yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if she choreographed it.
I couldn't agree more when you said "we get to see them more as ARTISTS whereas as just idols" because kpop industry atm seems like purely business and no more artistry the idols are displayed off as trophies to the company's desire instead of maximizing their own personalities and individuality. And then you see XG (girls and the whole team behind, creatives down to the staffs) putting out contents where the focus is the girls' individual artistry all while being a unit. It's just a beautiful thing to watch
@@jrdominate2321 They're a global group doing contents in K-pop format. Do you see Taylor Swift or Doja Cat releasing Dance Practice videos? I brought up K-Pop in that sense because K-pop is the most consumed media right now and for XG to be putting up contents in this caliber is a huge wake up call to the K-Pop industry to treat their artists better.
13:31 I just wanna add that the actual lyric is “Shine in the dark” not shining the dark. Anyway loved the analysis of our Xtraordinary Girls. As a dancer myself I would like to say XG really sets themselves apart from your typical group or idol. Because not only do they have phenomenal talent when it comes to dance. But they have that mindset that professional dancers have, a very crew like mentality, and ability to move as one organism. Clean and precise but also elegant and heavy hitting. You’d have an absolute field day reacting to all the dance content they put out.
XG is pretty much a global dance crew that can rap and sing at a top-tier level. SInce you watched "Street Woman Fighter 2", you probably caught that TSUBAKILL dance crew did a performance to one of XG's song "SHOW YOU CAN" performed by Maya & Cocona. I enjoy your in-depth analysis to all these choreographies from various groups. Keep up the great work.
Yes I noticed that from SWF2! That's where I started getting all of the recommendations to take a look at them! Thank you so much for the positive feedback! I appreciate it so much!
I love to see how you explain what type of dance they were doing. Your knowledge in dance helps us to appreciate XG more 🐺✨ they are very incredible performers ❤️ can't wait to see them live next year 🔥
Why we ALPHAZ love XG because XG is doing things in different way and new, today our society full of AI and fake information, only left we can do is humanity,so let us feel we are alive❤thanks XG
Thanks a lot for this amazing reaction! It was so nice to see your interpretation and dissection to their performance. I usually check your SWF, SMF, SDGF content, but your reactions to XG are also really cool!

@@jess_holyfield recommend all the dance practice, definitely Tippy toes / Shooting star / Left right / TGIF and all of their dance solo ❤️😭 But the artistic of this one is super superior. The combination of hiphop essence plus contemporary dance is just so refreshing for me. It’s very creative, their concept of this year is about new type of gene / dna Hesonoo in Japanese mean umbilical cord. So the choreography in this part was to perform the unborn organism developing into Embryo and life later on. Start from all of members connect with each others by their feet, transform into circle with the pose of fetus inside the womb. And the new born baby mostly close their eyes until they came out to see the world, then the X-Gene part starts when they pull off the blindfold. It’s very interesting as this year concept. If you look into more it’s really fun.
Very interesting breakdown of the video. I think you are the first person to use the term Cognitive Dissonance in a video. Btw, Hesonoo is "umbilical" in Japanese, which should explain the opening sequence, it's really the birth of their unit. I think I will subscribe to your channel, keep up the good work.
Appreciate if you could watch XG MOVE #1, 3, 4 and Tippy Toes Dance Practice (Fix Version) and assess their dancing skills. Would love to know your thoughts on that. Thanks!

You are soooo right….. it’s a shift of energy for the industry, but I’m thankful this group is one that is approaching it more counter culturally 🔥🔥
why would you compare them to kpop when they’re not freaking kpop !

Their arms on the floor...umbilical cord. Legs opening and closing heart beat. At the end DNA chain links. That's what I picked up from it.
