That trick with the sheet pan over the lasagna is genius! I can’t believe I never thought of that, I don’t always want to put tin foil on the pan. Thank you for the great idea!
I missed it the first time around and had to go back and look after reading this comment, glad I did because it looks like a cool trick which I will definitely try!
Those leftover remake meals are often the BEST meals. My kiddos always loved that banquet style type meal when we had them. I hate throwing out food, so making things over to use up what we have on hand is always a priority here. We also have a "NO WASTE" kitchen
WOW this is like icing on the cake. We get to see you cook all week then an extra for leftovers. I'm all in and love it. Thanks for sharing and coming back to us!!
Appreciate the great ideas for repurposing leftovers - thank you, Shelby! And, thank you, Ken, for treating your amazing wife to a special breakfast! Gold star! God bless you both and your family! 🙏❤
I would love to see more repurposing leftover videos! To take left over of one meal and turn it into something completely different not only is creative but serves to use up extra pantry items and lessen food waste! After all is done, you can also just throw everything into a soup as a third repurpose left over idea !!! YUMMMM
Great meals Shelby, I never know what to make with leftovers, I just hope that I have enough to freeze for another day. Thank you for sharing those great ideas. x
Out of all the pantry challenges I watch, yours if my favorite! You make the most delicious looking things and such a variety. I like that you post daily too!!!
I always had the chips and cheese at Naugles. So good! But the best place for refried bean cups like that was Pup n Taco in Westminster. It went under and has been a Tommys for decades now, but I still remember those beans.
Wow it all looks so good...I know the older I get the less I like seeing left overs...soup is the only thing I don't mind having left overs and as we cool down with this frigid cold soup sounds fantastic.
Oh my goodness, Shelby, you are so good . Here in North Alabama, we got 7 inches of snow ,live in the country, so shut in ,My husband and myself are going to be as big as a cow 🤣🤣 all we do is cook eat repeat 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you so much for the ideas! I am usually the only one who eats the leftovers in this house. I can only eat so much. I need to start repurposing them like this.
I sure wished i had your creativity when it comes to repurposing leftovers! Heck i just wished i had creativity in the kitchen period! Great video very much enjoyed it!
You are so creative with leftovers! Can you do some videos on freeze drying foods? I was surprised to see your freeze dried shrimp, so now I'm curious what else you can freeze dry. I've been wanting one for a few years, but haven't purchased one yet.
Very creative way to use left overs. As always, I love seeing your videos friend. ❤ hope you and the boys are staying warm! It’s been a cold week here in Missouri.
I'm loving your videos and this pantry challenge! You are an inspirational homemaker Shelby.....you make home cooking look attainable! I'm so inspired by your passion. What kind of cooking did you do during your working/nursing days? I struggle know what to cook to prepare for work and when coming home after a long shift.
I love it when you cook any Mexican food because you cook like we eat it in So. Calif. I’m from Culver City and our local taco stand is Tito’s and they do their beans the same way and the tacos which is how we always eat them fried like you made them with the shredded meat inside. It’s so good … makes me home sick. It’s always my favorite kind of food. I’m in TN now and can’t tolerate pretend Mex food or Taco Bell either.
Shelby! They reopened Naugles! There’s one on Beach Blvd in Garden Grove now. I’ve never been to the original but when we took my mom she said it was pretty close!
Currently doing pantry challenge in my house too. Gives me a better knowledge on what I dont need to stock up on. Learning that just cause it's on sale doesn't mean I need it in my pantry. I have some boxes of stuffing to use. And fun ideas to do with that?
I make Chicken Bruschetta casserole with boxed stuffing mixes: 1 lb. boneless Chicken cut into cubes, put into a a casserole dish Sprinkle with dried basil and garlic salt 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the seasoned chicken Mix the dry stuffing mix with the seasoning packet and 1 can of Italian diced tomatoes, spread over the chicken and cheese Bake at 350° for 30- 35 minutes Yum!! 😊
Hello, fellow viewers! I need help. Shelby had a video where she reviewed her recipe binder and made her menu plan. She talked about Sunday-Brunch, Monday-Soup, salad, sandwiches, Tuesday-Mexican, Wednesday-International, Thrusday-Grill, Friday-Family Night. Please help me find it. She showed us her recipe binder.
I really love when I soak my pinto beans overnight and slow cook them all day in my crock pot. I dice a medium size onion and use hog jaw for flavor. And after their done. My family eats a bowl of pinto beans with homemade cornbread. When I have lots of pinto beans leftover. I use them to make refried beans. And that's the best way to eat Mexican food. Eating refried beans out of a can stinks and I don't like that part. So making them from scratch is the only way I can eat them.
Oh my goodness, Shelby, you are so good . Here in North Alabama, we got 7 inches of snow ,live in the country, so shut in ,My husband and myself are going to be as big as a cow 🤣🤣 all we do is cook eat repeat 🤣🤣🤣

Naugles Mexican bean and rice bowls are the best here in SoCal.
Shelby's buffet..😄...looks good to me
Shelby! They reopened Naugles! There’s one on Beach Blvd in Garden Grove now. I’ve never been to the original but when we took my mom she said it was pretty close!
Hi Shelby! Which freeze dryer to do you use Shelby the Harvest Right?
So, now you done it Shelby! 😅 I wanna live with you, i bring my family with me. You cook, we do all the dishes and cleaning! It's that a deal?😂
Naugles! I miss that place.
I like to use leftover beans to make bean dip. Just thin it a bit with water or broth
Doesn’t it feel good to create new meals from leftovers?? One of my favorite things ❤

I feel like that is a lesson I’m learning too. I definitely want to be more intentional with my pantry moving forward.
I make Chicken Bruschetta casserole with boxed stuffing mixes:

Sprinkle with dried basil and garlic salt
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the seasoned chicken
