05 - The Search for Ingstads Winter Quarters - The Tundra

In 2010, eight norwegians left for Canada to find the place the norwegian trapper Helge Ingstad stayed during the winter of 1929-30. No one knew where it was - and the people we asked, they answered that is was impossible to find or that it obviously must be found somewhere around Ingstad Creek.
We started to work with this in 2008. We ended up with two, relatively huge areas wherein he might have stayed. We hade to choose. That's when The Ingstad Creek Expedition 2010 started.
