One of the things I like most about this song is Hazuki's solo, because it's soooo dissonant and oddly off-kilter. On the album version there's more effect to it, so it almost doesn't even sound like a guitar. I think I like it because I would never write something that weird and progy, so it really throws me off, in a good way!
Mayu has so many facets to her voice, but one thing remains no matter what - she is instantly identifiable. No matter if she is in angry-cat banshee mode, or soft as a new-born puppy sweet, I swear I could pick her voice no matter what/where/when. Of course the entire band are all amazing - I still wish Saki hadn't left, but the tracks Nemo have released since have all be exceptional, so good on Nemophila for powering through. But in this track, pay attention to Tamu - despite being tied to the drum kit, somehow she manages to be central to the show!!! She's a joy to watch. 🤘🎸💮
