there’s another interesting thing that actually amplifies both RR and omni man’s battle IQ. although you said RR’s whole tactic is to just run up to you punch and repeat, he actually only hits omni man wherever he’s not looking(his blindspot). this makes it so even someone with as fast reactions as omni man couldn’t possibly catch RR. but here’s the interesting thing, Omni man with his thousands of years of battle experience realized this almost immediately(you can even see omni man widen up and start looking around) and starts checking if what he realized actually is happening. within 3 punches omni man realizes RR’s tactic, checks to see if it’s true, then purposefully looks at one side while preparing to catch the punch coming from the opposite side at the same time instantly countering RR’s strategy. RR wasn’t being stupid as many seem to think or inexperienced, omni man was just playing 4D chess with RR and schooled him on the tactical side of the battlefield.
I'd say it was still a dumb idea. Red Rush is a speedster. He dosent really have the destructive capability to hurt someone like omniman. Which he should have known since they have history working together. The only reasonable explanation I can see Red Rush attacking is to distract omniman or to draw his attention to let the team regain their footing. Even then he dosent have to physically touch omniman, just keep his focus

That's like saying if I punched a steel block 500 times instead of 5 times I would damage it. No the only thing that will be damaged will be my hand. Start making SOME sense bro.
@@Harsh12351 Not how physics works. Force = mass x acceleration. Red rush's acceleration is very fast therefore more force. Simple. Maybe u should make some sense
It's clear all the guardians where caught off guard and where acting by pure insticnt. Also, it took them until red rush's death to realize Omniman was going for the kill.
That's true, the only one who had a faster perception than everyone is RR. Well, I guess I should say was....
From the latest invincible episode where mark turns off the light he is back on the bed almost before the light turns off so maybe Omini man is almost as fast as light
I also saw that, I tried to keep this analysis tied to the first episode though. There were other feats and showcases of viltrumite superspeed in just the first season
Okay so I suppose a reason Nolan doesn't use super speeds later on is to not damage the planet maybe?
But still if we consider RedRush to be faster than lets say the Imortal then why is the Imortal able to land a punch on Nolan? Perhaps if it was just any battle Nolan wouldn't need to use his full speed but if I recall correctly at this point he was urgently trying to catch up to Mark to convince him.
I feel Nolan should have just insta one shotted Imortal. There are points where Nolan does seem far faster but the fight felt too even If we know Nolan can move at such speeds. Unless if we also think Imortal can move at speeds comparable to RedRush?

My head canon is that Joseph had to die with Omni man’s ridicule of the power of speed, so that Josephs son who was the next chosen one for the green emerald, would seek revenge with more strength, mobility, and more general abilities from the emerald. As he learns revenge ain’t the way to go he will follow and outclass invincible by being the Unstoppable Green Ghost

I'd get it if RR was thousands of times faster than Nolan, but we see in the slow mo that it's only like a 2x difference.
