Deep house hero Kai Alce will also be contributing to the vibe with his soulful and emotive sounds. With Haitian roots and an NYC upbringing, Alce intends to preserve the black foundations of house music. The DJ and producer has released music on Moodymann’s Mahogani Music and Omar S’s FXHE label and has since begun his own imprint, NDATL Muzik whose name praises three influential cities - New York, Detroit and Atlanta. He also held a weekly residency at Atlanta’s MJQ club, throwing the 10-year-long DEEP party. A staple of the scene, he now regularly heads an annual afterparty for Detroit’s Movement Festival.

My dude. Our first year in college, my dorm threw a party and he was the DJ I booked. I think that was his first gig in Atlanta....I remember visiting his dorm room and seeing nothing but crates of vinyl......the rest is history. He is one of the best at his craft, and I am proud.
I clearly went to the wrong college. I was at MIchigan State, so we could just ride to Detroit

Nah Kai Alce is globally respected, he’s definitely one of the most important gatekeepers in the Global House scene today. He’s right at the top of his game in everything he does from production to his record label. I think as a DJ he plays great stuff, but he isn’t a great DJ technically with his mixing.

@@Morehuze I contacted Kai Alce and he said it's a speech from Ed Robinson a professor from Virginia State college but I haven't found a video or recording of it yet.
Actually it is Dr. Edward W. Robinson Jr., and this came from a speech he gave at north Philly William Penn High School in 1970. It can be found on Black Rhapsody recording.

I was telling that to a friend. His collection does all the work. Only a few tricks are missing to adjust between tracks. anyway still hv good tracks if you like that stuff.
