I think they did this wrong. They were talking about big creators which is not gonna be the norm. They should've done average sized creators for both. Or even created new accounts that were not promoted in the slightest way on their platforms and seen how that worked out. Just spit balling but they clearly went for the 1% in mind.

People have been streaming on Twitch forever now and they get more money cause of subs (obviously) but that's ONLY the super large streamers, if you're newer, you ain't making shit for a long time. And with top streamers leaving and new revenue split, UA-cam is just better, for both unloading long and short form content and streaming.
Yeah it's the same with newer youtubers. UA-camrs won't make money at all, they would have to become monetized. Streamers are much better off if they're lucky then youtubers that are lucky
yah and UA-camr even if it's more or less they *rest* and twitch streamers stream the f*ck out even when they are sleeping and even average you stream atleast 2 to 4 hr every another day or everyday and UA-camr post videos every week or every other week
Not subs but deals like twitch or kick sing u to be exclusive or just stream at their platform and they give you a contract like adin got 150m and xqc 100m and ninja 50m from mixer but UA-cam doesn't give you a deal atleast from what i know subd are nothing compared to contract

I mean it makes sense. The amount of money you make on yt would depend on the monitisation gods. Whereas twitch is based on a subscription/ donation model which is more reliable. I know that yt also has yt red and the members thing but the people rarely use it.
Surely It's without ads, but with em. UA-camrs would definitely earn more
depending on size it makes sense as the streamers are usually financed by their fans where as youtubers are financed by AdSense.
It only changes when you go to the 0.01% that have multiple income streams, but also, how many of those youtubers also have side companies (usually production) streamers, you dont often hear about that

It comes down to watch hours and the friends(that he actually talks to talks to not just people he knows and has on his podcast a few times) that he knows Ludwig has are 10 million subscribers and under and not in a everyday upload schedule mode and they most certainly aren't getting Markiplier views where Markiplier can shit out of video everyday and get a million views and can make $36 million a year a streamer sits behind a stream for 8 plus hours at a high level of viewer retention and they're just going to passively gain money because yours are just going to donate and if you have an interesting personality you're going to make a good amount of money.
Combined with everyone that subs every month to a certain person, along with the dononations, it adds up

I honestly think it's pretty obvious big UA-camrs only get the ad revenue but streamers get the ad revenue and subs and super chats etc
UA-camrs get a lot of money from sponsors like g fuel or game sponsors streamers aren’t getting more then that from donations or subs
Streamers also get those deals like gfuel for their stream, and streamers usually do make videos themselves either way

@@theimmigrant0 ad revenue gets a massive cut if you get demonetized, also the amount of time the video runs can also affect it. Big twitch streamers are always getting donations from their thousands of viewers. The only way a UA-camr can make more money than a streamer is if they’re very kid friendly, and are able to put a fuck ton of ads in their video.

Streamers make way more money because streaming platforms make them a deal they sign a contract for millions of dollars just to stream at their platforms while UA-camrs don't get a deal
