- Join us for our embarkation day on Jewel of the Seas! We had fun exploring this ship, as it was our first time on a Radiance Class ship. Although this ship is much smaller than the ships we typically book, we enjoyed the venues around the ship. We were disappointed with the night life, as that is something we enjoy doing every night while on cruises. Here's to hoping the rest of the nights will be a bit busier.

I cruised on sister ship Radiance of the Seas about 21 years ago to Alaska and the Radiance class ships are some of the best out there on the high seas.
Going on this cruise in June 2024 cant wait

That view of Amsterdam centraal was beautiful. I would have added a bit more of that area all the way to near the Pontsteiger building. It would have been extra beautiful on this vlog. I see this ship every about two weeks depart from my city, despite its small size, she looks prestine sailing the IJ river.

This ship looks fun! I know you guys said you didn’t get the drink package on this cruise but could you explain the drink package on Royal? I’ve only cruised with NCL and was curious to know the difference between the drink packages!
There are a few options for drink packages. Royal offers a soda package, refreshment package and deluxe package. The refreshment package includes everything except alcohol, so you can get mock tails, specialty coffee and smoothies as well as soda and water bottles. The deluxe package includes alcohol as well as everything in the refreshment package. Did you guys have a lot of centrum noise, specifically from the bands? What about foot traffic noise from the shops? We are looking at an Oceanview across the hall. 😊
Not at all! We didn’t hear anything from the centrum.. although we did usually go to bed later when the bands had already stopped playing. It was probably our best located room we have had on a cruise, we loved it!

Do you sisters do one cruise a month? I mean, I was following your virgin cruise that just ended.
We don’t plan them specifically every month but we do what fits best with our schedule! Unfortunately we don’t have any more planned until April 2024… that will hopefully change
