Another thing is that the animators won't be as hardly worked, and so can do better jobs and also have a life outside of their work. Animation is already a very tough job, with very bad conditions and having continuous releases like the old Big 3, would make animation quality lower while also destroying the health of the animators. I personally can wait more time, if it means no more fillers, better animation and the animators get treated better.
